These are in a green house holding 1020 trays. The thing went up well the directions sucked but any idiot can figure it out. The green like top cover thing seems okay , definitely added some strength to it. My only complaint is it seems like it’s gonna to break. I am not a middle aged hobby gardener. These things will get heavy use and almost know they will snap. The weak point is the small amount of plastic the is around the poles as they are set. Given the hot cold cycle of outside, and the sunlight it receives I give it 2 years before I’m ghetto rigging it back together. It’s working! My plants are surviving the winter. I have an enclosed but uninsulated patio where my plants stay and I’m unable to bring them further indoors because of pets. This is working out fabulously. Also, the heat and moisture have caused my catnip plant to grow to an ENORMOUS size, just gigantic leaves. Just got it in today. 30 minute install,0really easy to assemble. My 5 year old helped me with it. I recommend using garden ties or plastic ties to tie down the shelving units. I got that idea from watching assembly videos before I purchased i this. see in the pictures I put it in the middle of each shelving units and I'm going to go back and put to one in front of it and one all the way in the back to just hold it secure because I am placing this on my apartment balcony I won't be using the four tile ties. I'm waiting for my grow lights to come in so that I can attach it to the tops inside. I purchased some with a clamp. I also enjoyed that all the plastic pieces are recyclable. I'd have to check if the metal pieces were are recyclable too. I think it's a good quality for the price. ... show more

It was easily to assemble. Sturdy enough for my starter plants. Just wish I had the option for a fifth tier. I made my bottom shelf the bigger one because I want to hang my grow lights

Exactly as described, love this thing. It's not the studiest assembly, but it is absolutely great value for the low cost. Holds many growing trays full of seedlings, allows for light to go thru the shelving if needed. If you use lighting clamps you may struggle to get them set up on the exterior structure, beneath the cover. We have it set up in our three seasons room, I would not set this up outdoors. ... show more

I have 2. My only wish for this is that I had a way to put grow lights above the first shelf so I can utilize all 4 shelves with grow lights. I did clip on a standing grow light to the 1st shelf but it didn't have the reach to cover everything but, I love them. They are great for seed starts, indoor growing. I'm hoping to grow lettuce in the winter in mine. It's easy to put together. ... show more

Don't try to move it after you put it together! It's on a patio, & will blow over & come apart in the wind. Perhaps, without the cover, it wouldn't. Be sure to tie it down real well. Won't hold anything too tall.
