I bought this product because of the reviews. I'm skeptical about reviews because I find that many reviews are "pumped up" and not always accurate. I am very much a naturalist, as much as I can be. I have found that many processed foods have additives that make them not as natural as I would like. I compared this product against another product that I bought around the same time. I used them both with the same ingredients, except for the protein powder. Both had Stevia, which I am not crazy about. This powder was hands-down better than the other product, and here's why. It had cleaner ingredients, it was organic, only 1 gram of sugar and it had 5 grams of prebiotics. A lot of times, protein powder will be high in protein but also high in sugar. This wasn't. It blended smoothly and the Stevia flavor was not overpowering. I also liked the fact that it was plant based protein. Also, it is gluten free. I liked the ratio of protein to sugar as well as ingredients like chia, flax, quinoa, millet, amaranth, etc. 90% I loved it. The 10% of my dislike would be how they flavored it. Instead of using vanilla bean flavor, I would have liked to see vanilla bean extract or cacao powder, if it was chocolate. I don't like artificial flavors of any sort. I still love this product and I would buy it again. I give it an A instead of A+. ... show more

I can’t have dairy, eggs or soy. That makes breakfast a challenge. I didn’t mark anything on flavor because buy vanilla but have never actually had it plain. I make smoothies: ice to 4oz line in blender cup, 1 cup frozen fruit, heaping scoop of vanilla powder, and clear fruit flavored sparkling water to max liquid line. Blend till smooth. My husband tasted once and now he also has every morning. Told my older brother and now he’s using it as well. I did notice a difference between the high protein and high protein with super foods. More energy and it seemed I stayed full longer on superfood. Just my experience. I’ve lost 110 pounds on my own, naturally through lifestyle changes. No plastic surgery or medical “quick fixes”. One of the tools in my arsenal belt is this vegan vanilla protein complete with probiotics and superfoods. I have tried many many different vegan protein mixes throughout the years and for whatever reason THIS is the one I ALWAYS come back to! The flavor is far superior to any other that I’ve tried. Plus the price is fair for what you get. (If you have a Costco membership, maybe check out Costco because they can have some really good sales on this product.) Anyways - it works. It’s yummy. I was recommended this product by a colleague who uses this exact flavor and everything, so I decided to give it a shot after seeing the amount of good reviews as well. First and foremost, the fact that it is vegan is phenomenal. The vanilla flavor is not overbearing, at least for me, it it just perfect. I have had other vanilla flavored protein powders in the past and they honestly tasted as though I had drank an entire bottle of vanilla extract on its own. This brand seems to blend really well too and does not leave chunks of powder behind. I have used Orgain Protein powder before so I decided to try this one since they were out of the original one. I got the vanilla one. I I use this almost daily. I mix in some fruit and blend and it’s a great pick-me-up. It tastes great and is filling. Mix it into your favorite foods as well. My only drawback is that I would agree with other reviewers that it is a little grainy but I can get passed it because I usually slam it down after a workout anyways so a grainy texture isn’t that much of an issue for me. Tastes great and I love the fact I can get protein AND superfoods all in 1 product ! I usually buy the chocolate version, but thought I'd try this vanilla flavor. I found I prefer the chocolate flavor, as it seems sweeter and has a more natural taste. I use them both as creamers for tea or coffee. I'm unable to afford the smoothie powder now, and the chocolate won't work for that, so I thought this vanilla flavor could also be used in smoothies. However, I'm not a big fan of the taste, so it won't work. I have to use two scoops, plus a scoop of my vanilla multi collagen, to get enough sweetness, and even then, the stevia taste is too strong, and both drown out the chai, tea and coffee flavors. So, it's not bad, it's just ok. But I'll return to the chocolate next month. One plus is that it mixes better than the chocolate, for some reason. I sometimes would mix the chocolate into almond milk, but can't do that with the vanilla because I'm not that wild about the taste. I've had COPD for years now and this stuff is a Godsend. A person with COPD needs 10 × the protein as a regular person because the lungs need it. I could tell the difference in one day. I felt it in my muscles, in my brain, and in my energy. I was using Whey protein, but the dairy affects me now and builds up mucus and makes me wheeze. No more wheezing with plant based protein.
