Did everything correctly like the instructions said 100 yards down the river the motor locked up and wouldn’t turn over. Trying to get a return/refund they have given me nothing but problems.

For the money you can’t beat it! Build quality 7.5/10 some pieces are very cheaply made. Still gets the job done though Power 8/10 Surprisingly pretty good. Moved me (230lbs) my girl (140lbs) my dad (190) on a calm lake 9mph winds 1436 Jon Boat fully load at 11mph. Very impressive for the price. The number 1 complaint with this is there’s no way to keep the motor on the back whenever you’re transporting it. It will hit the ground they have a way to lift the motor up but there’s no way to hold it still in that spot so it just free spins & will fall forward. Conclusion : if you’re looking to get on the water for a cheap price this is a great option. ... show more

Great product for the price. One tank runs about 45min to an hour (depending on river currents etc) took my 14 foot aluminum boat 12 miles from willow beach to the Hoover Dam and back. Only real issue is it is rather LOUD. Being air cooled I did not expect it to be quiet, but it is loud. Have not been able to locate replacement parts (like a propeller if mine gets damaged) Performed just fine. 9 out of 10 (because of volume) ... show more

Honestly for the price it’s pretty good quality I’m glad I bought this over a marketplace outboard and it’s pretty easy to setup it idles rough at first but then it’s fine overall 10/10

Definitely gets the job done. Starts every time throttle works and pushes well. Perfect in my 12ft aluminum boat for me and one other person. Take it on tons of inland lakes and haven’t ever used more than half a tank cruising from a few fishing spots back to shore. Really impressed with this little guy for the price. ... show more
