I like this ladder so far. I am older now and I like the wide steps and it feels sturdy. It is not really light because it is steel. Makes it sturdy. I live alone and bought this on line so I wouldn’t have to bring it home and unload it. It was brought to my town and then USPS was supposed to deliver to me. I got a notice that there was a problem with delivery. I was home so was confused. I left a note for my carrier to bring it again. I got a note back that I would have to pick it up because she didn’t have room in her Jeep with all the other packages she had to deliver. A 20 mile trip to the PO. Had a worker carry to my car but I had to unload it at my house. I could have gone to local hardware store for that much service. Make sure your delivery is acceptable for you. Not sure if Amazon has a way to choose or verify but they may need it. ... show more

This is a truly handy ladder for day-to-day use around the house. Having this in a closet indoors prevents me from having to go to the garage and grab my heavier, oversized, working-type ladder, haul it into and around the house, and then put it back, all the while trying not to hit anything along the way! I got the 4-step version of this ladder: it gives me over 3-feet of extra reach from the top step. This is enough to be able to reach just about anything in my two-story house with 10-foot ceilings on the main floor and 9-foot ceilings upstairs. The ladder has a nice wide footprint/base for stability and it's strong so it doesn't feel wobbly either. The steps have a non-slip texture and are much larger than you'd find on a working-type step ladder so it feels safer when you're standing on it. The feet are padded enough to prevent damaging floors. Easy to fold-up, it's under 3 inches thick so you can put against the wall in the closet behind coats for example and lose very little useful space storing it. Bottom line for me, with this ladder conveniently in an indoor closet, it's that much easier to take care of tasks like changing air filters, light bulbs, clock batteries, etc, which means that they will likely get done sooner! ... show more

Well, heck! I had this exact same step ladder/step stool, and my granddaughter stole it from me when she came for a visit a couple of weeks ago! She was whining about not being able to reach things in high places, so I showed her my step stool, and she ended up taking it with her when she left! So, I ordered another one! This is a great step ladder. The cost is low, and the quality is very high. I used my old one for over a year with absolutely no complaints. Four steps makes it more versatile than a three-stepper; I am short--I mean, height-challenged--and that extra step means a lot. The ladder is very well made, sturdy, and stable. There is no wobble, and I feel very secure using the top step. There is also a hand rail at the top to keep you even steadier, and to prevent falling over. The steps are nonskid. It opens and closes pretty easily, and when closed, is quite flat. I cannot say enough good things about this ladder. I love its design and function, and would recommend it hands down for anyone who is even considering one. Get this! You will not regret it. It has given me the ability to reach virtually anything I need on high shelves in the pantry (and the shelving goes almost to the roof), and in cupboards. Love it! ... show more

So, I live in a warehouse loft conversion and, well, I have 35ft ceilings and no, this ladder won’t reach. But I also have open rafter ceilings that are above 8 feet. I don’t want to drag my 6 foot ladder in from the garage every time I need to change a light bulb. I have a 2-step step stool. That’s only really good for getting to the medicine cabinet. I have a 3-step ladder that’s ALMOST enough for light bulbs but mostly just enough for me to feel insecure on it. I needed this, 4 steps, like my 6-foot ladder but NOT a 6-foot ladder. Slim and light where I could store it in my closet. It’s priced at $79.99 with a $10 off coupon which seems steep but that final price is in line with similar ladders found for sale. Ok so I have always had the step ladder that costco sells but this one has been my favorite now, far surpassing the other one. This ladder let's me get higher - so I can reach the loft bed easier to change sheets. I can definitely reach top shelves anywhere and I can change light bulbs or clean fans with ease and no longer reaching on tippy toes! It is sturdy, folds nicely and just overall so wonderful. I really love this step ladder, the 4 step is amazing, I can reach high spots like the garage ceilings or windows in the stairway. This ladder is very nicely made, the steps are made of plastic and have a great tread design. I have a 2 step cosco that has poorly treaded metal steps that offer little traction and this ladder is much better in my opinion as far as steps. The locking/latching effect is better on this ladder than the cosco too. The cosco has a flimsy metal spring latch that is finicky and on this ladder the top step locks over a bar simply by pressing down. It folds very flat as well. I'm really impressed with this ladder and may even get the 2 step version to replace my cosco that I've never loved. ... show more
