Pretty light (easy to move but has a solid weight...could be lighter but I feel as though that would make it flimsy and wobbly), REALLY stable (this thing won't shift on you once you have it set down and are climbing it)...it great! My likes: The height of stool. Dislikes: I needed a higher length handle to hold while standing on steps for stability. The bottom step needs to come out further. I catch my shoe toe on the upper step because it is so close under the bottom step. If buying this product make sure the bottom step clears the top step by a wide margin. I will be more aware of the height of the hand rail and step clearance between the top and bottom step.
