The material used is very soft and doesn't shed. The nose isn't wearable because it's stuffed and there is no space for your nose to go. I bought a mask with a print of a bear nose to wear instead and that worked out perfectly. Overall I'm happy with it. The tail clipped on easily and didn't fall off even with sitting. I didn't wear the necktie but it's made with the same soft material, wouldn't recommend wearing it if you have sensory issues. The headband fits him a little big, but it does stay on, the headband fits me (average American woman) on the small. The headband does not fit on my husband’s XXL head.
