These shelf pegs worked great for my need, I had 1/4" holes in the cabinet for pegs that I wanted to add another shelf to. The 1/4" side was easily inserted into the cabinet holes and fit snugly, and these are dual sided so would also work for 5mm size holes. The pegs seem to be good quality with a smooth finish, no rough feeling areas. Also has the clear rubbery sleeves to fit over the exposed part of the peg to cushion the shelf sitting on the pegs. Has two types of clear sleeves for either side of the peg. The holding case is also a nice bonus to store the unused pegs as there are a lot of shelf pegs in the pack, seems to be a good value for the amount of pegs you need, I only needed 4 immediately.

I am grateful for these little guys and I feel like it was a good deal to receive so many of them at this price. I love the outward appearance of my kitchen cabinets but man was there wasted space going on inside. Some of the cabinets had the predrilled holes for this type of pegs but the only included one shelf and one set of pegs. That’s like a tease, right? I needed many more to take advantage of the space because I don’t have a lot of items to store. Luckily I have a brother that works with wood and he was able to cut a few shelves for me to use with simple boards … you just have to be sure to measure correctly (measure twice, cut once!) These pegs are a really easy way to increase your storage without needing to create space. I think they will hold up very well even for heavier items. A practical and useful find.

Every time we've moved our bookshelves around we've lost a couple of these pegs. After substituting scrap bits of wood, we finally got smart and ordered this box of replacement pegs. The silver and clear color is very low profile and does the job. The rest of the box goes into the tool cabinet for our next project. Every household has a need for this little guys.

I like these pegs because they are made to fit two of the most popular sizes of shelf peg hole jigs. They also come with a plastic cover to keep rub marks to a minimum on the shelves. The pegs come in a convenient plastic storage case and are well made and a great value for the price.

Not something I'm particularly excited about but I don't have any complaints to dock a star. The two sides having different thicknesses is a great idea, and the silicone boots further extend the sizes of holes they can fit in. I've used them for kitchen cabinet shelves and they work great. Simple but effective solution.
