Thick and solid metal with a great powder coat finish (which you cannot see once you mount them on the wall). These brackets are very strong so, there is no concern of them bending, twisting or warping over time as your screen raises/lowers over and over. Like other reviewers have said, I chose to upgrade the included screws with longer wood screws I already had. To make sure it was securely mounted, I attached both brackets to a wall stud then used drywall anchors in the holes that did not reach a stud. This has held fine for more than a month now and I expect it to continue. If you have a Vivid Storm floor to ceiling screen, and you want to wall mount it, I strongly recommend these brackets.     • If you get the Vividstorm motorized screen this wall bracket set is a must buy.
VIVIDSTORM Wall Brackets came with all the hardware needed to attach your Vividstorm screen to your wall. I bought this product to stabilize my Vividstrom 120'' motorized screen, which has very smooth up/down transition, but the case does seem to minutely move on my hardwood floors. As the screen is a bear to get back into precise position these brackets keep my screen stationary and in perfect position. I install my bracket at about 21 inches from the floor, because the A/V cabinet that I ordered height is 20 inches tall (the stand that I currently use is nearly 20" too) which seems to be the sweetspot for my ceiling height. Anyway, I would recommend - as it just makes sense to buy this item if you buy the Vividstorm screen. ... show more

These things will never bend, the problem is that the holes are juuuuust slightly bigger than regular studs, and there are no options for making it stick out from the wall a little bit more so you’re rather limited as to how you may mount it. I ended up placing it on a couple of even tables and decorated it around. ... show more
