Overall simple and great product. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is one of the springs was manufactured correctly. The reason I don’t return was I wanted to finish a project. I’ll up date to 5 stars if the seller sends me another brace.

These are strong collapsible brackets for that shelf you sometimes really need but sometimes really don’t. Easy two hand collapse parallel to the wall. If anchors are strong the brackets can hold a load on a shelf .

pretty much exactly like the picture and description. Just got them and haven't installed yet. Don't see any reason they won't perform.

I bought these to add a front shelf to my Recteq BYB 1200. They fit perfectly and were easy to install. I used a 42" red oak stair tread for my shelf and these brackets hold it up with absolutely no problems. They are also very smooth to operate. One easy push of the lever and the shelf drops easily to the stored position. When lifting the glide easily and lock into place with a resounding click. I would have paid twice what I did for these since they did exactly what I needed them to do. Super value for what I paid. I didn't use the screws that came with them as they lined up perfectly with the existing screws on my Reqteq. However they looked to be stainless steel so had I needed to use them I think they would have been fine.

One bracket worked perfectly, the other one wouldn’t open all the way. Seemed like it had been dropped and was slightly bent. Came packaged in an Amazon envelope so that may be part of the problem. Returned and re-ordered. Hopefully the second set works flawlessly.
