I recently purchased the TEKTRO 319AC RH BMX Short Pull Brake Lever for my BMX bike, and while it has some positive aspects, I also encountered a few drawbacks that prevented me from fully embracing its potential. The installation process of the TEKTRO 319AC RH brake lever was straightforward, and the build quality seems to be decent. The lever feels sturdy and durable, which is essential. In terms of performance the brake lever falls somewhere in the middle. It provides sufficient stopping force, but I noticed a slight delay in response compared to other brake levers I've used. The ergonomics don't seem to be a good fit for my hand size as I have large hands making it not a great fit for me but better for a loner bike. The price point is very nice however!!! ... show more

The copy says "pieces: 2" implying that this is a set. It's not. This is one right-hand lever only, which makes it useless for most purposes. Don't be deceived.

I saw that Blackhawk uses this for their throttles so I tried making one. The handle makes a great base with just the right amount of spring tension.

    • Installed on my sons 18'' kids bike to replace plastic lever
Replaced the flimsy plastic lever on my sons 18'' kids BMX bike. Easy to install, able to adjust lever towards bar for more comfortable reach to operate. No flex. brakes work a lot better. Would recommend.
