This actually fit the base of my barstools very well. It was pretty easy to install as well and I don't know how secure they are but I did slide the chair back and forth and I didn't have any problems that definitely makes me more secure in the fact that my children won't be scratching my floors and they won't be easily slipping and falling out of these chairs now. The color is nice because it definitely matches my sofa so that is a positive as far as decor goes. They are stretchable so I'm not sure how that's gonna work and longevity but for now they are just what I needed.

These fit my barstools just fine. (I don't remember what brand they are, but they have the round base that gets thinner toward the edges). I like knowing my wood floor won't be scratched accidentally if a visitor pulls out a barstool too fast. These aren't for heavy use, however, as I found while testing them that the friction of pulling the barstool back and forth causes them to roll/come off the base. We don't use our barstools very much so they work fine for us, but I wouldn't recommend them for barstools someone uses daily. Or, you could lift the barstool when you pull it out instead of dragging it (which sort of defeats the purpose of the pad, though, doesn't it?). Once again, okay for the light use in my household, so I give them four stars.

This is such a great idea. I have a 1970s stool that scratches my ceramic tiles in the bathroom. Make sure you measure before you order. My stool base is 17.5". Of course, I didn't measure before I ordered. However, I have a different, smaller stool I put it on. Pros: It's stretchy, grey color is nice, it's quiet, a great concept though. Cons: It's a bit thin, I would expect it to be the same diameter on both sides, I believe this will come right off, as I slide my chair back and forth daily. I slid my stool back from the counter and pushed it back in and the ring was bunching and trying to come off. Overall, not a bad product.

I thought I had order black but apparently got grey. It is very light grey, almost white. Not what I was expecting and the color clashes. If you have black stools get black. If you have light colored stools get gray or white.

I have a couple of older barstools with the round base and I was afraid to put them in the dining room of my new place because I was afraid they would scratch the new wood floors. This is a simple solution that is well worth the investment of money and a little bit of time. The installation was fairly easy, but be warned, it is a tight fit--which is necessary--so you really have to stretch them and it's a much easier installation if you use 2 people. But once installed, they hold the stools securely and definitely won't scratch the floors! Perfect for what they need to do. 5 Stars!
