For cheap speakers, that make decent sound, I am not a perfectionist. I knew they were cheap speakers and expected them to sounds it, but they actually sounds better in my $100 beater than I expected. They are driven by a double din Kenwood that I got it of a car I was scrapping.

Work perfect, actually sounds really good running on monsoon stereo system. No crackles no drops. Might want to add sound dampening foam between the speakers and the metal and door panel to decrease vibration and rattling cause these actually have great Bass for a budget build.

    • LED lights needs direct connection to the car battery to work.
One of the reasons for purchasing is that my previous speakers needed to be upgraded due to distortion. I wanted budget friendly speakers with little flare to it, the previous reviews are right about the LED needing a certain amount of voltage to work. Which means you'll either have to connect it to your car battery or a cigarette lighter. If you don't know much about these things I'd recommend a technician. I installed mine without the LED. The quality is amazing once you have the right equalizer settings, the bass isn't bad either just wish the LED light wasn't so complicated to install. ... show more

Amazing sound. Have sounded great with only the headunit amp to power them. Clear highs and as powerful lows as you can expect from a speaker this size. Definitely happy with these speakers. Gonna buy another set for my wife’s car now.

Decent for the price. Sound good however after almost 2 years 3 out 4 no longer work. The wires on the back side of speakers have deteriorated

Trash absolutely garbage don't waste your time number one the size is off so I had to trim out all four mounting panels and the first time i turned them on (no amp) they popped at 15 volume. So I put them to a 4 channel amp and that didn't help any with it all the way down all they did was pop and had s*** sound if there was a zero I'd put it. And to top it off it was late delivery ... show more
