Okay so the product it self works tremendously. Fan speed and air flow are great. The sensor works just fine. I can't really give this product less than 5 stars, but if there was one thing I could dock points for it's the not so tremendous user manual.     • Product title and description are misleading.
The fan on this product is preprogrammed so that it only comes on for 5 seconds if the temp/humidity are OUTSIDE the set parameters. How often it does this is anyone's guess, there is no info in the instructions. This set programming was not in the product description. There doesn't seem to be a way to change this which makes the fan absolutely useless. If someone knows a way to hack the fan settings, please respond. ... show more

This is great for terrariums! It's a little cumbersome, but it does the job. I like how it can be programmed to set humidity and temp levels, air flow levels as well, its well worth the price. I also like that its quiet, i had to look at the unit to see if the fan was running to make sure because I couldn't hear anything. So far its great, I just hope it lasts a while. Other units similar to this one were cheaper, but did not last more than 2 months. So I. Hoping for the best with this unit. ... show more

These fans are okay. I purchased two for different areas. The fans run quietly and I like that it comes with temperature and humidity sensors which saves space. I also like the hanging brackets stability. The size provides enough air circulation for my small space. I don't like that it can't be cleaned once dust accumulates on the front and back side of the fans cage. One fan only lasted six months and doesn't blow air anymore. I was hoping for a longer run life than a couple of months but, being able to properly clean can't help once it stops running. I'll be looking for longer lasting grow tent fans. ... show more

2 out of 5 stars – Loud and didn’t last I wanted to like this fan because it’s compact and fits well in a grow tent, but it ended up being disappointing. The biggest issue is noise. For a small 4" fan, it’s surprisingly loud—I can hear it from another room, especially at higher speeds. If you’re trying to keep your setup quiet, this is not it. The bigger problem is durability. Mine stopped working after a relatively short time, and the wiring near the pivot/adjustment area seems like a weak point. It doesn’t feel like it’s built for long-term use in a grow environment where it runs constantly. Airflow was decent while it worked, and the clip/mount was okay, but that doesn’t make up for the noise and early failure. Overall, I’d recommend spending a little more on a higher-quality fan if you want something quieter and more reliable. ... show more
