This is perfect for someone like me! I buy protection for everything haha. This fit my G7X perfectly, it’s silicone so it does collect lint but not too bad and comes off with a wipe. I love the protection. Only thing was the lens cover, it worked perfectly and was satisfying to watch lift open when the lens pops out but it affected the flash and created a shadow so I unfortunately had to take it off. Wow! This fits my Canon G7X MII perfectly! I just took it out of the box and fit it to the camera. I am totally impressed with the fit and accessibility to all of the controls. I love the way the flap that covers the lens opens when the camera is turned on. Even though I just got it I am so happy with it I wanted to write the review immediately for those who may be looking for something like this. I see no reason why it wouldn't hold up with use. Seems to be a fantastic product. If I have issues moving forward after using it a while I will revise this review.

Fits my regular G7X without much issue. The lens cap works fine and doesn’t prevent the lens from coming out, as long as it’s placed correctly. Mine initially wouldn’t turn on because the lens cap was preventing it, but it turns out the lens cap just wasn’t capped on right. It’s not the most secure but it holds well enough. It doesn’t have any lip to hold most of the back side but that’s due to the camera’s need to allow for the swivel of the screen. It did not block me from flipping the screen all the way up, but you do see bubbling on the case from the screen pushing on it when flipped up. I haven’t tried it on a tripod but the accessibility is there. I can see why others say it would leave marks, no getting around that, I think. My main worry is that the tiny slit of material between the power and shutter button may split easily since it’s very thin. If I’m able to add photos later, I will. Second concern is if the mic will still pick up sounds well as the dots for the mic don’t seem to line up perfectly so it could muffle sounds. Haven’t tried it yet. Also, side connectors are accessible to strap connectors. Overall, happy with this purchase.

I absolutely love this silicon case. It is super soft and thin and fits perfectly on the camera. It’s thin material makes the camera look cute and modern not bulky at all. And the application was easy. Can have it on while in the tripod.

Desperately needed a silicone case to protect my G7X Mark II. I have found a well designed Silicone case to be the "cat's meow" for protecting expensive camera equipment. Pro's: good coverage, good protection Con's: back wheel partially covered, tough to use, tripod mount spot covered up with silicone. Conclusion: I have seen better silicone cases, without any con's... agree that the tripod connection will always be an issue. I will report back as to whether I am still using the case, or have cast it aside.

Small cameras like this make me a little nervous since I have big hands and they are sometimes difficult to hold on to. Purchased the black version of this silicone sleeve off Amazon and I'm very happy with it. Not only will it provide protection if dropped but it makes the camera more grippable, if that's a word. Now you do have to take about 45 seconds with some small scissors or an X-acto knife and enlarge the cutout for the lens ring to make it more accessible but this is a very easy fix so not sure why people on here are griping about it. I suppose if they want to send me their cover I'll have my five year old granddaughter do it for them... All in all this is well-made and cheap insurance against camera damage and like I said it also makes it feel more secure in your hand. FIVE STARS!
