The last item I needed for honey season. A bit pricey, but every extractor is. Time will tell if it was worth it. Assembly instructions are a sheet, back and front. Not much to the assembly, but a bit larger print and detail would have helped. Nothing in the instructions on cleaning or maintaining, which again, not overly complicated, but a little more detail would be helpful. Overall it looks solid and simple to use. If the instructions would have provided a bit more info I would have rated them higher. ... show more

    • Missing items, Came damaged with lots of small dents.
When paying $285.00 for an item, you would expect it to not come damaged with lots of small dents, and missing a screw and peg that holds the lid on. Ordered this item from amazon because I was needing it for THIS weekend! So here I am now using the item that can not be safely used, because of the missing screw and peg for the lid. I would not recommend paying the price they are asking for an item that is supposed to be NEW. While it may be new it is damaged, missing items, and over priced for a damaged item. Update: Seller refunded about 1/2 what I paid for the extractor. My husband is taking the extractor to someone to weld a piece on the bottom of each piece to hold the honey super frames up. Then is needing to purchase plexiglass to cut and make 2 new lid pieces, and buy a screw from the hardware store. In the end will be paying more to “fix/modify” this extractor then they refunded. Then the seller messaged me asking me to change my 1 star review. No thank you, I will keep my honest review. ... show more

    • Don't like where drain is located
Should have put the valve in the bottom of cantainer as to drain honey out instead it is up on the side causing you to have to tip the container on side

I've never owned an extractor before, always crushed and strained. Purchased this and worth every penny. Super easy to operate and easier to clean. Polished stainless inside and out rinsed with warm water and no mess. Also came with a few extra replacement parts which I though was an awesome addition.
