The media could not be loaded. So this review is from the perspective of a 50 yr old Mom and Nana. I’m not a video game aficionado by any means but I do like retro video games. This player has sooo many game systems, (I took pics of a few) & each system has tons of games from that type of console. I don’t think it would be possible to go through all of the games on this. I’m going to talk about “systems” what I mean by this is the different game console brands like PlayStation, Xbox, Sega, Dreamcast, Nintendo, PSP, Gameboy, etc Sound- The sound was good with most of the systems we tried except one. The sound was so bad (see video) that we had to figure out how to turn the sound off bc you couldn’t concentrate on anything else but that loud horrible music that was cutting out.. BUT we didn’t even have a chance to try all the game systems so I’m not sure how many have sound issues or cut out. I went into about 4 or 5 different systems and only one was bad. I wanted to show the good sound on other systems but you can only add one video per review & it wouldn’t be fair to show one that played great when there are some issues with this. Ease of play- Had a difficult time trying to figure out how to select, go back & other simple commands because it seemed to be different buttons in each of the different systems I was playing. I had to shut the game off several times because I couldn’t figure out how to get out of a game or out of the game info. This will be probably become much easier as I play it and get used to it or for someone younger that plays games all of the time. Finding a specific game- I wanted to check how difficult it would be to find specific games so I chose 3 random games- Donkey Kong, Pac-Man & Tomb raider. I was able to find them all pretty easy even though you had to go into different game system to find them. I did have to google which console had pac-man & couldn’t find it but the icon for a system had mrs Pac-Man on it so found it easily. All of the games are all listed alphabetically so it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. This game player is really cool and has every retro game that you can think of. I just wonder if the skipping music and the graphics would be better if the console wasn’t crammed with 22,000 games? This is a good handheld console to have around for someone like me. I’ll never buy a console for myself that I have to buy individual games for. It’s nice to have to keep the grandkids busy on a drive or to sit together and play Sonic, super Mario or Spider-Man. There’s a 20% coupon right now. With the amount of systems and all of the games that are included on this and you can hook it to your tv and never have to buy a game, I think the price is reasonable for this game console.

I ordered this retro gaming system as I’ve seen a lot of these types of consoles becoming more popular over the years. I wanted to give it a try as I love all types of video games - and it did not disappoint until it suddenly just stopped working. Learning how to navigate the system can be a bit tricky - however once you do, it’s smooth sailing from there. They’re categorized well & all of the games work as they should. I was really having fun playing this. I put it to charge and noticed that thr console became really hot. After that it just wouldn’t turn back on. very disappointing.

I ordered this gaming device to take on vacation with me since I'll traveling with a 5-year-old and I need to make sure she stays entertained...but I'll be playing it when she's not! The box contains the console, carrying case, screen protector, USB-A to USB-C charging cable (which has it's own slot in the case), and a set of instructions (which aren't incredibly helpful in general). First, I like the feel of the device; it's light and fits into my normal, adult-sized grip. The plastic does feel a little cheap but that doesn't bother me. Second, the speaker/sound isn't the best; it's very tinny and loud. Luckily, it's easy to turn down or even off completely. Third, I haven't played it much yet but I'm assuming the battery life isn't the best. However, with USB-C charging, you should be able to easily charge it using external battery packs. With over 30k games available on this device, I couldn't possibly rate this lower than 5 stars! And mind you, these aren't knock-off games, they are the actual games!!! I've found several that I played during my childhood and I'm going to play them again! Some of the games aren't labelled very well, but you should be able to find any game you'd like to play. There's also a search feature, but it'll only work if the game you're looking for is named properly. Overall, I'm quite happy with this gaming console and I'm positive it'll keep me and my daughter entertained on our flight and cruise!
