3mm is pretty thick. It was a bit of struggle pulling this suit on. I do believe that after wearing it for a few times the suit will stretch out and conform to the body. However, I could not take the suit off. I couldn't do it from pull at the wrist end nor could I peel it off from the shoulder. Finally I had to ask my mother to pull it down from the collar from behind me. I thought the zipper front would be more conducive to putting it on and off. Bought a size up and it fits well, other than the sleeves being Really long. I’m 5’6” 200# with an ‘Hourglass’ shape... curvy Everywhere. Bought the 2XL. When I opened it I was worried because the suit has an ‘Apple’ shape but it fits fine. Will get it on the river next weekend to test it out.

I’m 5’ 9 150 lbs, slim built, I originally ordered a women’s large. Because I’m so tall it didn’t fit. I reordered an extra large. It fits slightly snug. I could of even went one size up to a XXL. , which I’m considering doing. Well made Love it.

We got a medium, for length, and it was a little generous in the torso. The arms are somewhat loose so the water does get in, around the neck, also. But the quality of the suit material is very good.
