Great to use, I had never done anything like this before, but this was super easy to use. Much easier than dealing with a huge sheet of vinyl wrap, and I feel like you don't waste as much either. Easy to store too. I would recommend for sure. It is a bit expensive but I feel like it is not that bad since you are getting the convenience of it being in a strip form. I had to use about one and a half of these to wrap all the silver on my car. I had this on for a little over a year, but I recently took it off in order to redo it. Nothing on the product, just feel like I could do better this time around.

This is my first time experimenting with trim tape. I liked it. It’s easy to work with and the adhesion seems secure. It comes with 2 safety blades which was nice because the first wore out from my trial-and-error. I do worry about the corners and edges because even after a heat gun they didn’t want to lay down. But I was also not able to “wrap” it under on a lot of parts because the rubber seals are too deteriorated to take the trim all the way off without replacing them. For size reference (if you’re also trying desperately to make your family Honda Odyssey look cooler than it is) the 25ft roll got one side done. Minus the very front triangle window. So 75ft probably will suffice with extra left.

One roll is just enough to blackout the trim on a Pontiac G8. We did slit the tape in half the long way for the lower trim on the car and it fit great doing it that way. It is stretchy and shrinks pretty well with a little heat. Good stuff.

I’ve had my car for two years now, and since purchase I have been wanting to black out the car. I started with the window trim as advertised then moved to the small lights and finally the grill. I highly highly recommend ordering the 50ft so you have excess for error. The first few strips are difficult to apply as well as all and any curves. If you don’t have patience it’s imperative that you find someone to help you that does. Otherwise you will see lots of air bubbles/bumps & wind up wasting a lot of tape. I was expecting to spend $200+ on a new grill alone, and I made the whole car what I want for $50. Definitely worth the price and I will be buying again in the future if needed. Came fast and was not missing anything. I’m so happy with the final result, and mildly disappointed I can’t use it on my rims. Overall 4/5 just because it can be quite difficult to install depending on the shape of the surface you are installing on. I would absolutely purchase again.
