I LOVE this chest of drawers. I love the look, the smoothness of the drawers. Having been in the market for one for a long time, this is a great piece that is reasonably priced but is not cheap and nasty. It is a lot to put together for one person but it's perfectly doable. I am very good at building furniture but it took even me a few hours over two nights after work to get it done (the drawers are tedious but not difficult) You may need someone to help you lift it at the half way point to put the back on - I managed to get the middle piece (which has to attach ½ a foot off the floor - I put stuff under it that matched the height I needed) but I'm stubborn and I should have asked someone to lift it for me. The materials feel like I should have paid more than $250 on sale. The drawers fit more than they look like they should and though the black coating can be easily scratched (I suggest putting a blanket down before you start construction) it is magnificent. Customer service was really great. A piece was broken but the customer service assisted us with this. Used a power tool to assemble and rook about 2 hours but was easy to do. It is sturdy and beautiful. Purchased as a bonus room dresser but I liked it so much it is now the primary dresser.

Same as the pictures but it came with a little dent in it which I won’t make a big deal of because it’s in the back and didn’t mess with the structure of it at all, plus I was way too far into building it when I realized. I dislike the handles and wish the gap was a bit more universal. I found handles at Home Depot that I fell in love with to swap out but unfortunately they don’t have 2 3/4 inch handles in that kind so I’m stuck with them for now. I had already gotten one for my kids’ room and I loved it so I got it again for my room twice. The first time I never received it because it was damaged during delivery (which I suspect is the same thing that happened this time.) Otherwise, I love the height and size and it was very easy to put together. I would suggest using a drill because I’ve done this twice manually and it hurts a lot after awhile so I’m getting a drill next time lol ... show more

I needed a dresser and a night stand for my daughter’s bedroom and decided to go with this one because of the good size. When my husband assembled the nightstand, they sent us a wrong piece so we called and now waiting for the right piece to arrive. For the drawers dresser, they sent us the top piece already damaged and cracked at the corner. After put it together, found out the drawers are not leveled, the gaps between the drawers are not the same which is so annoying to look at if you’re someone that like perfection. The dresser is kind a wobbly and not sturdy at all. If there is an easy way to return it. We probably just keep it after spending 3-4 hours to put it together, we just don’t want to bother with all the hassle to taking it apart, re-box and send it back. But, I’m not going lie sayings that it doesn’t bother me every time I look at the damages, the big gaps between the drawers. 😡 ... show more

The directions had minimal words, by minimal I mean 3 words per page. In the directions, the pieces were labeled. Once opening the box, none of the pieces were labeled. Had they come labeled the assembly would have gone much faster. The quality is good and I don’t regret purchasing, but I had two people putting it together and it took 5 hours. I would recommend a power drill when putting screws in the side of the drawers - screwing large screws into little holes took the longest. ... show more

Directions: as a 28yo female, I felt like the directions were easy to follow. They are detailed enough to make the steps easy to follow. I highly recommend having a power tool instead of screw driver to speed the process! It took me about 2 hours to do a dresser and two matching nightstands! Sturdiness: this is a 300 dresser, I feel like the quality reflects that. It seems sturdy, the amount of screws prove it’s going to uphold decently! Weight: the box was 140 pounds, shout out to the delivery guy for bringing it inside for me! Overview: The grey color is slightly darker than pictured, I would buy it again I feel like. The drawers aren’t super deep- but the dimensions are listed so I take the fault there! ... show more
