Description

NESKLA’s 3D sensor ensures accuracy, whether you’re hiking, running, or walking. Your steps, perfectly measured. Why is my step count inaccurate when using a pedometer? The pedometer may not count steps correctly in the following conditions: 1.During irregular motions (e.g., body swaying and shaking) 2.When using walking aids or moving with slow/light steps 3.While riding vehicles like public buses, trains, or cars How do I use a pedometer correctly? It is recommended to clip pedometer to the front of your waist for more accurate step counts Why is my pedometer not working? This is normal. To prevent counting non-walking movements, your pedometer has a 10-step start delay. It will only begin displaying the count after you take 10 continuous steps. Then, it will add all steps (from the first one) to your total. How to install belt clip? To install the clip back on the unit by sliding the clip into the slot on the backside of the unit until a 'click' soundisheard. If you need picture instructions, please refer to the user manual.

  • Simple and strong clip
Color: Black
Just clipped it on and noticed how strong the clip is. Wonderful! No programming. Just counts steps and that's all I need. Seems accurate. I'll add to this review after a few days then months, but I'm thrilled at this point. Update: After a few days I'm very satisfied. Tracks only deliberate steps. Goes into sleep mode when I use my under desk cycle. Fabulous! If you need to track calories or distance, or require memory (prior days steps), this might not be ideal for you. This is a straight forward step counter without memory or auto functions. The reset button is perfectly placed and responds to a 3-second hold so no issue accidentally resetting. My ideal step tracker. ... show more

  • 2nd one is Perfect
Color: Black
This was delivered to me June 30, and I was so happy with it because it clipped on and was easy to read. However, I am writing this July 11 when the clip broke, and the pedometer fell to the floor. I thought perhaps the clip would slip back onto the pedometer, but it doesn't because there is no small piece on the back of it to fit into the groove on the pedometer. It fell onto a floor with no rug. Thought sure I would be able to find a piece that I could glue back on, but found nothing. It will still work if carried in a pocket, but I don't always have a pocket - I'm very disappointed. This is an addition to the above comment. I returned the first pedometer and received a credit without any issue. I then ordered a new one which has been received and is working perfectly. I love it - it's simple to use and easy to read! ... show more

  • Accurate, works well - may stop if it gets wet
Color: Black
Update: 6-28-2026. After it stopped working, I thought it might have gotten wet and took out the battery and back and left if open for over 24hrs. I put the battery and back on and it has been working ever since, so changing my review to 5 stars. Original review: Bought this 5-9-2025 and it just started resetting on its own, like some of the most recent reviewer have noted. For the year it worked, it was pretty accurate (I'd compare its steps to the MapMyRun app). I really liked it: accurate, good clip - stays in place; easy to reset, read, and chg battery; not over complicated. ... show more

  • Excellent Customer Support
Color: Black
Update: So this is now nearly a year since I've gotten a replacement pedometer from Troy Element and am happy to report that, not only did it work beyond the 6 months test period for me, but it is still working coming up on a year! One thing I have not done this time around is to wear the pedometer on the lanyard. It may just be that the device is not sweat proof after all. So, five stars for the pedometer but still not sure if the first two times I received duds, or it's the sweat (water on device) issue, or just a case of three time's the charm. Edit: Troy Element reached out to me following my poor review and offered to refund my purchase or send a replacement. Only time will tell if the replacement is any better but I must say I am very pleased with Troy's initiative in reaching out to remedy my poor experience. He's also a keen communicator. That's excellent customer service that I wholeheartedly appreciate. 5 stars for great customer service! Unfortunately, because I wasn't among the many that had total satisfaction with the pedometer, 1 star remains (for now) for the product experience... unless after retesting the pedometer I find it to work for least six months. Original Post below: Upon initial use this pedometer is great. Simple, straightforward set-up, large digital numbers and clear display... For the first two months only, apparently. This is the second time I've purchased this NESKLA pedometer (a year apart) hoping the first pedometer was an unfortunate flop, but a second time has me thinking that this brand pedometer is simply faulty. Once at the two month mark (and so outside of the report window) the ink display suddenly distorts. I initially thought it was a battery problem and purchased replacement batteries but it turned out not to be the case. From my experience I'm leaning towards a manufacturer defect and so do not recommend the device. I'm happy for the lucky people who didn't get duds. But most reviews are first impressions and people tend not to update their reviews as time passes. For me, this was a fail twice over. I'm utterly disappointed. ... show more

  • Only worked for a few times
Color: Black
Update:8/5/2026, customer service did reach out to me via email and they did replace this item at no cost to me so I’m happy to be walking and counting my steps again 🙂 I purchased this on May 29th and have used it a handful of times and it was accurate and worked very well until it didn’t. Lastnight was my last time it working, I thought maybe the humidity got to it so I took it all apart and left it open all night and it still doesn’t work. Very disappointing ... show more

  • Nice, simple pedometer
Color: Dark blue
I am loving this pedometer - it is small enough to stick in any kind of pocket on my clothing I might have. I have to remember to reset it every day if I want to get my daily number of steps, and I haven't tried to use the attachment to clip on to clothing. I may try using that at some point but for now, it's easier just to use a pocket. It's easy to read and it seems fairly accurate (although I haven't tested it). It would be nice for it to have a light to be able to be read in the dark, and I am assuming it's not water-resistant (I would love to use it when I do water aerobics), but I don't think there was any information that it came with that would tell me yes or no. ... show more

  • Steps not accurate to what I’m walking
Color: Black
I like that this is small and doesn’t have a lot of buttons it’s pretty simple and clips to anything. I don’t think the step count is very accurate.

  • Saga updated: Decent product, has issues but refuses to completely die so I'm still using it
Color: Black
I am tired of apps, bluetooth, syncing, etc. and I was just looking for something basic to track my steps each day. I was super excited about this affordable pedometer after seeing a lot of good reviews, but I've found it a little frustrating. The first one I received was in pristine condition, but the battery compartment was SO tight it could not be budged or opened at all. I can't remember if I ever even turned it on, because I exchanged it due to knowing I'd never be able to change the battery when necessary. The second one I received had clearly been opened before, evident by tears where the flap at the top of the box tucks in. I couldn't tell if it had actually been used or not, but it appeared clean and seemed to work so I decided to keep it. I used it for a few days and was really liking it, but soon noticed it was resetting itself to zero in the middle of the day without me pressing the button. The first time it happened, I assumed it was a fluke, but it's an ongoing issue. I now find that I'm trying to look at it throughout the day and make a mental note of how many steps it says so I can add the steps in my head when it inevitably zeroes itself out, which it now does several times each day. Honestly, it's become an annoyance, and my memory and attention span aren't good enough to add up the steps all day long and try to compensate for it repeatedly resetting. If it weren't for the zero issue, I'd like it. I usually wear it on my ankle or at my waist, and it counts pretty accurately as long as you don't take a few tiny steps at a time without surpassing the 10 step minimum for it to register. For example, if I water the garden and I'm moving around a good bit without stopping, it will register many steps. However if I were weeding in the garden, moving only a few steps at a time and stopping frequently, it would not register as many steps due to the frequent stopping before hitting the 10 step minimum (even if I took the same number of steps). It also seems to work on the elliptical, but for some reason it doesn't count accurately on the elliptical when I wear it at my ankle. It does count elliptical strides for me if I wear it at my waist. UPDATE: I originally thought the new battery that arrived in the unit would be sufficient, but after seeing it mentioned in another review, I changed to a totally fresh name-brand battery and this seems to have fixed the random resetting issue. To the seller's credit, they reached out to me several times after I posted my original review and were very proactive about trying to make things right with a refund or replacement. I didn't find that necessary, but I appreciate it. It seems to be working well now, and I'd recommend it as a simple, low-tech alternative to all the apps, trackers, and whatnot. UPDATE AGAIN: I'm back to mention that this thing is finally giving up the ghost after a year and a half of abuse. Not long after my previously edited review, the clip broke and left me with no way to pin the pedometer to my pant leg. I kept using it, either in my pocket or tucked into my sock or rolled up pant cuff. I used it this way for quite some time and it hung on, despite occassionally getting getting lost, dropped, or washed in the laundry. The battery cover eventually became loose and wouldn't close completely, which I believe caused it's demise by moisture getting inside (sweat, rain, laundry). It started showing phantom lines on the LCD display, which got worse until it appeared to be all eights 88888 and is no longer usable. RIP. UPDATE AGAIN 4/26/25: I dilly-dallied and didn't promptly throw the thing away, and apparently it heals itself when it dries out so I started using it again. The all eights 88888 issue appears to be from humidity / rain / sweat as a result of the battery door not closing totally and leaving a gap for moisture to get in. Anyway, after 2 years of being technically broken it's still going strong as long as I keep it dry so I'm still using it. Will stop updating now because this feels a little excessive. 😂 ... show more
