  • An exceptional watch
Color: Black and Powder Gray
I've been a Garmin fan for 5+ years. I wore my previous forerunner 24/7 and loved it. But after that time, I was looking for an upgrade. I've have the Forerunner 965 for about a month now and I'm really happy with it. The battery lasts a good week plus (I kind of loose track at that point). The running features are really top notch, from tracking, stats while running, race planning, etc. The body battery feature is really cool and so far has been pretty spot on for how well I sleep and how much energy I'll have. The nap feature is also neat, despite my only taking the occasional nap. The touchscreen is very responsive and a nice upgrade from my previous Garmin. I also like the touchscreen disables during workouts so I don't accidently mess with settings. The watch feels very durable and a month of constant wear shows no marks or damage at all. All-in-all, I'm really happy with it and plan to keep wearing it 24/7. PS - Garmin's customer service has always been top notch whenever I've needed them. ... show more

  • Fantastic smartwatch
Color: Black and Powder Gray
Bought as a replacement for an abused and overused Forerunner 945 that was showing its age (but not broken, testament to Garmin durability). The Forerunner 965 display and touch screen make this a significant step up and provides far more utility and easy navigation than the prior generation of screens. The functionality and battery life are fantastic and are a real help to me when planning my activities. I like that the watch turns on when you raise it toward your gaze, works well, and that at night the screen is dimmed and simplified. My only longer term question is with the charging connection, this has not evolved from prior generations, and I have found this to be the weak part of the design - sometimes the connections get dirty or the cable breaks and charging can be a pain - wireless charging would be an improvement. ... show more

  • Stats galore if you’re an avid runner. Garmin Connect app is awesome
Color: Black and Powder Gray
Best smartwatch I’ve ever owned. Larger face, easy to read, stats galore. The heart rate and sleep monitoring is worth the price alone.

  • Great watch
Color: Black and Powder Gray
I have been an Apple watch person for well over 10 years. This watch is awesome at tracking activities, sleep, heart rate and a list of other items. The battery life is awesome, lasting about 2 weeks between charging verses the Apple watch that had to be charged every night. The display is bright and easy to read. I love the ability to change and customize the watch faces. Highly recommend ... show more

  • GREAT PRODUCT
Color: Black and Powder Gray
Garmin has done it again. Another great triathlon watch. Since my first forerunner around 2010, I have been a loyal and repeat customer of Garmin and they have yet to disappoint and this watch is in line with their superior quality. The value for the money is worth it and then some. Whatever issue you have, you just call garmin and they will do everything to get you fixed up. It looks very sleek as all their forerunner line does, the heart rate data and the unlimited features offers more than most of use will ever do with the watch. A definite recommend if you are looking for a triathlon watch. ... show more

  • Great accuracy!
Color: Black and Powder Gray
I love this watch! I upgraded from a Forerunner 935 and the accuracy of the 965 is so much better. I'm not a huge fan of the screen going dark, so I set it to always on. This, of course, shortens the battery life, but I don't mind that too much. What bothers me the most is I can't see seconds all the time. I have to flick my wrist every 15 seconds or so to see the seconds come up. This doesn't sound like much to many people, but if you have to check heart rates all day, that gets old super fast. They can show my HR all the time, why not seconds. The sleep tracking is pretty good, but sometimes it gets confused about when I'm sleeping or not. One day I was just playing video games for most of the day. Chilling after a long hard run, you know how you do. Anyway, it thought I had gone to sleep. haha. And it doesn't like it too well if I get up 2 or 3 times for an hour at a time in the night if I need to tend to a sick or injured animal. But for most regular nights, sleep tracking seems to work. Other than that, not too much to complain about. It's a nice watch and works well in my use cases for trail running and long distance horseback riding. ... show more

  • Nearly the perfect workout/health tracking wearable
Color: Black and Powder Gray
I moved to this watch from a Garmin Forerunner 955 Solar which I loved for the exercise/health tracking, sensors, and battery life *except* for the "sunlight-visible, transflective memory-in-pixel" screen which works great in bright sunlight and not so much everywhere else. This watch brings forward everything you like about the functionality of the 955 and add replaces the funky "MIP" screen with AMOLED while still having such a great battery life that it puts to shame the Apple Watch and WearOS watches. The only thing I wish Garmin would add to their watches is a utility to bring the settings forward from an older watch in a series ("Forerunner" or "Fenix") to a newer watch in that same series. I've suggested this to them. Altogether I am completely happy with this watch but expect to spend about a week fine tuning the display settings to get that longer battery life. I started with Always On and almost immediately moved away from that. UPDATE (7/6): I received the watch on June 26th and immediately topped off the battery (it arrived with the battery in the mid-90's). It's July 6th (10 days later) and the battery is at 44% with an estimated duration of another 10 days. That's 21 days of battery life. I'm very satisfied with that. This is why I'm never, ever tempted to order a WearOS, Samsung, or Apple watch. BTW, like all Garmin watches, it works great with the (Android) Garmin Connect app and gives you access to more data analysis in the app than on the watch. ... show more

  • Great running watch once you get it setup
Color: Black and Powder Gray
Great running watch, once you get it setup, which requires Garmin Express. Doing it via the app doesn’t work and was incredibly frustrating. After connecting it to my laptop and downloading the latest update, it works well and very happy with it’s performance.
