Mine was dead upon arrival. No flame effect, heat, nothing. Had I have had it awhile I would diagnose and fix it. Will be printing a return label. It sucks because the fake flame being purple would have been a nice accent at times for our bedroom colors.

I’m hoping to remedy noise because my daughter likes flame color options. Removing one star. Received this heater today. Purchased for my teenage daughter’s room for heat. I have added some photos and a video. Please note the red flame may appear more red in person. I have included a pic showing what the heater looks like when turned on. It glows underneath logs when turned on. Pros: 3 flame color settings with brightness control. Thermostat has two heat settings. Control settings are not visible. 3 sided view of logs and flame. Heater fan not too loud. Flame effect noiseless. Lower watts for heater may save on electric bill. No remote to lose. Fully functional controls on heater. Possible Cons: Glass is reflective. Glass could crack or break if hit. May not be suitable for all environments. Glass panes not sealed together at front corners. I will add some clear silicone adhesive. Flames are not very realistic, but are enjoyable to watch. My daughter loves the unique look. Logs themselves don’t light up. Some light is visible through logs from back flame panel. Maximum heat output is 1250 watts. May not produce enough heat for some situations. No remote. Controls located underneath top of heater on front side. ... show more
