First, this cage is beautiful. I absolutely love the way it looks. I wasn't willing to sacrifice durability for aesthetic and I am not disappointed here. I was nervous about the lock mechanism when I first saw it, but It sure holds and my pup is VERY strong. Although she was pretty well crate trained and doesn't mind being in it so much now so it's not like she's TRYING to get out. But when she was younger she sure did! I love that there's 2 access points so I can move it around and still have a functional door if the other is blocked. Makes me wish there was another on the 3rd side but that's totally fine. The downside of the multiple access points is I use one specific door to let my dog in and out,y kids use the other. Sometimes the door is closed and not locked and we dont realize it so when we lock her in, she just pushes the other door and gets right out. She has to be crated when we leave because she will eat whatever inedible items she can find, and destroy stuff with her chewing. So a couple times we came home,she was out because we were unintentionally leaving a door unlocked. Now when we lock her up weve learned to check both access points and make sure they're both locked so we don't come home to half eaten socks lol. Another con about the cage is the door feels a little "sticky" now when opening and closing. It seems to me like the top may be bowing down (I can't see it) and is making the door too tight and it's harder to open and close. I've decided i think it's from putting things on top of it. We never put anything heavy on top of it but certainly used it to put stuff on (dog food, toys etc) I think it just can't handle any weight at all without sacrificing the integrity of the cage so now we won't put ANYTHING on top of it and the doors aren't giving me a problem anymore. So even though it looks like you can put little plants, or their food or basket of toys on top of this, I wouldn't recommend it at all. All in all I love this cage and I highly recommend it. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the directions were very lacking. If they would put a label on the fronts and back of each piece, that would be extremely helpful. They did put A-E stickers which were somewhat helpful, but I seriously needed to know which side of the panels faced which direction. All in all it only took me about 3 hours, but my husband jumped in due to the face I was about to quit and I really didn't want to leave the living room a mess. Now to see how the dogs like it.

Wow this is amazing! Opens from the front or the side which is super convenient. Nice wood top and back which really makes this look like furniture. Was very easy to assemble. Highly recommend. Puppy sleeps very well in it and is expected to be 60-80# and will fit even when she’s full grown.

We have a beagle that likes to get into things he shouldn’t. We needed a crate for when we’re at work but I wanted one that looked nice. This didn’t have any reviews when I bought it so it was a big risk! Thankfully it really is a well made great crate. Our little guys just loves it even when the doors are open he’ll just go hang out in it. It took about an hour for me to put together by myself. It would probably be quicker with two people. Very happy with this purchase!

I’m not sure I’ve ever purchased anything with no reviews, but I got lucky with this one. Our bunny free-roams but we crate her at night and this was exactly the size we needed for the space. It was very easy to build and although I used a power drill (low torque), it provided all of the tools. May have taken a bit more time and energy to use hand tools as the holes are not pre-drilled but pre-notched, so the material had to be broken through. Zero issues. It looks really nice, especially for the cost, and love that three sides have doors. All doors but the front right door have locking hinge clasps on the top and bottom, the other is held into place by two central bar latches. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the latching on the front - the hinge clamps are great but the bar latches are a bit sticky and I wouldn’t trust it with an animal that may put a lot of force on it. Recommendation to the manufacturer: just use the hinge clamps on the remaining door for better security and ease. I’d buy it again for sure.

Our mudroom's aesthetic appearance has undergone a significant transformation thanks to this new crate. Our 80-pound German Shepherd occasionally utilizes the crate, which is slightly compact, but we leave the doors open, allowing her to enter and exit freely. The absence of a bottom piece from the crate supplies was noted. Not sure if it will impact its functionality, it should be inlcuded in the purchase if it is documented in your order. The dog bed, purchased separately, complements the setup.
