It will take a significant amount of time to assemble. It is a very fun build. The outcome is very nice. Mine was missing a part but I had enough Legos to match the missing piece. This seems to be a constant from other reviews. I still like it alot.

I love that Johnny 5 has his own "Lego" set. This is a great set, and the fact that it has working wheels and tread only add to its charm. However, the instructions don't always show the color or size of the pieces distinctly. The pieces don't always go together as easily as you would hope, and when completed, the figure isn't as tight and well built as an actual Lego set. However, for the price point, this is an entertaining way to spend the evening. It took me a little less than two hours to build, and the tread was one of the hardest parts. You have to piece it together with small individual pieces and estimate how long it actually needs to be. ... show more

    • Not for younger children with out responsible adult supervision, depending.
What to say about a plastic lego type model well...it has many small parts which require you to be very careful assembling. Make sure you also have a tote to keep all prices in till you need them, so you don't lose or misplaced them. All in all it is a nice model. Wish the assembly book was in paper for and did not require you to scan a pc code and use the net to assemble this. ... show more

Pretty close to Lego quality bricks.... Pretty easy to build and detailed instructions. Number Five, is ALIVE!

    • Low quality material that doesn't always fit together.
Not a fan of this brand. I had just started with the build when I ran across a piece that wasn't extruded correctly and it will not fit together, so unfortunately, this build is a no-go. Luckily, it was a cheap knockoff.
