It will take a significant amount of time to assemble. It is a very fun build. The outcome is very nice. Mine was missing a part but I had enough Legos to match the missing piece. This seems to be a constant from other reviews. I still like it alot.

What to say about a plastic lego type model well...it has many small parts which require you to be very careful assembling. Make sure you also have a tote to keep all prices in till you need them, so you don't lose or misplaced them. All in all it is a nice model. Wish the assembly book was in paper for and did not require you to scan a pc code and use the net to assemble this. ... show more

    • This is a decent build
I like this build, good representation of johnny 5. parts go together really well, but there are a few steps that are a little complicated and the instructions don't show the color variance of the pieces used, so easy to confuse some of the parts and directions. I had to rebuild a few steps due to poor instructions and viewing angles of the piece's orientation. I figured them out, but there were a few missteps. Not tragic, just a redo once figured out. I would recommend. Good value. The piece stands about 8 inches and the arms and head piece have some decent articulation, the treads do rotate, but they are not really intended to roll around. The piece is a little delicate when moving around, so handle with care when moving. i would glue pieces if not intending taking apart again. Just go slow and make sure everything is aligned properly before committing to glue. The eyelids, head and body do articulate, as wells as the laser on back, pretty limited, but you can adjust expression using the eyelids. Neck area is a little fragile, so be careful when making adjustments. Same with the fingers. Not really a play piece, more for show. Buy it, you wont be disappointed if you're into Lego builds. ... show more

    • Low quality material that doesn't always fit together.
Not a fan of this brand. I had just started with the build when I ran across a piece that wasn't extruded correctly and it will not fit together, so unfortunately, this build is a no-go. Luckily, it was a cheap knockoff.
