Alright, let's get flashy with these 36 LED License Plate Strobe Lights – because sometimes you just need to announce your presence with the subtlety of a disco ball on wheels. First Impression: Slapping this carbon fiber-esque license plate frame out of the box, my first thought was, "Well, isn't this… attention-grabbing?" The sheer number of LEDs promised a light show that could probably rival a small airport runway. The "Emergency Safety Warning" claim had me picturing myself as some kind of low-speed, non-official emergency responder (mostly to snack emergencies). Pros: * 36 LEDs blazing in amber and white? That's a whole lotta blinky! You're definitely going to get noticed. Whether that's a good thing or not depends entirely on the situation (and maybe your local traffic laws). * 28 flash modes! That's more flashing patterns than I have thoughts in a given minute. You can choose from a subtle twinkle to a full-on seizure-inducing rave. This is a great idea for a way to easily add emergency lights to a vehicle, without having to drill hole etc. The light from the LED's is quite bright, and can be seen from a distance in the daylight. There are 28 flash patterns that you can select to suit your purpose. However, I can only give it three stars, because the cord that plugs into the lighter socket is only about 10 feet long, which makes it too short to reach my lighter socket from either the front, or back license plate mounting position. I would have to splice in a longer cord to make it useable. With a longer cord, I would give it 5 stars.
