    • Very Impressed at first use
Color: Purple/Purple
Ok at first unpacking f the strobe I was concerned that the light might be to light not giving enough dark purple for my Parade buggy. The reason was because there were no tint to the led bulbs, and was not sure it would give a dark enough look to the lights. boy was I wrong, the color is just as deep as you would find on a newer police unit. Currently I am working on getting them installed on my Parade Ride for our Mardi Gras Run. so Far I have high hopes for the longevity of the strobe. I hope this will last the entirety of the Mardi Gras Season. I will update this if i have any reason to change it. I hope this helps you in making your decisions ... show more

    • Not purple
Color: Purple/Purple
These strobes are well made and appear to be sealed well. They’re quite bright and have many interesting flash patterns. I don’t believe the manufacturer specified if they are syncable but they are. Everything about them is more than acceptable except they’re definitely not purple. In their defense, purple is a very difficult color for LEDs to reproduce. It’s more of a purple suggestion. This isn’t really an issue to me because I intend on tinting the lens and altering the color but it could be for someone specifically looking for a purple strobe. Overall, they’re good lights if you overlook the color discrepancy. ... show more

    • Great lights for added safety!
Color: Amber/Amber
Installed these lights on the rear of the large Toro tractor with snow thrower to provide increased visibility to other motorists. Living in western New York, clearing driveways and mailboxes is a daily routine. Being visible is bring safe!

I used one of these to make my kayaks more visible when being towed on my trailer. The kayaks are about four feet longer than the trailer itself. Hanging a little red flag off the back just didn't seem to be enough so I decided to use a flashing strobe light instead. In my case I mounted the light itself to a piece of plastic, mounted the plastic to a metal rod, and then attached the metal rod between the sterns of the two kayaks. To power the light, I used a rechargeable battery (typically used for an RC car) and connected it to a toggle switch. Works great! ... show more
