The Typhoon siren was an amazing buy! Durable, cost effective and very loud and clear. I wanted to go with a Whelen siren, liked the sounds, the reliability and the iconic 'wind up' only sound that would always make me hit my steering wheel when I heard it behind me. But simply put this is a FAR BETTER DEAL! Far less than half the cost of a Whelen siren and on top of that to have an integrated light controller and PA system for only $199 dollars? Not only that but the quality is unmatched by anyone but Whelen. The speaker, the Triton is ear piercingly loud. So loud that when I activated the Mechanical Q tone people 3 miles from my home could hear me. And last but certaintly not least the hidden tones. It is just so cool because this is a Fire and EMS rated professional siren and light system but they still have fun with it! The Jurassic Park and Nightrider hidden tones killed it. Clean, professional, cost effective, loud and fun.

Got it for my Ecto car. This thing takes minutes to install and looks sleek. It’s not flimsy or light. It is heavy and durable. Every button has a satisfying click to assure you it’s been pushed. If that’s not enough, every tone is loud and clear. Best bang for your buck no doubt. Only gripe I have is that I was really looking forward to the knight rider secret tone but when I did it the buttons flashed like it was supposed to but only my Ecto siren played. All in all I’m more than satisfied

At first I was overwhelmed by this product but it’s actually a lot simpler than I made it out to be. With some YouTube videos and a better explanation. Adding lights was a breeze. Fabulous product and I enjoy embarrassing the kids as I drop them off at work!

Loved everything about it easy to install and use, no programming needed, I used to have a whelen 295slsa6 but it gave out, down side is you need a fuse box to buttons 1-6 depending how many lights you have, i added one to control all my blue/white separate from red/white. Connected to a whelen speaker and it is loud! Highly recommend.

The product was great while it worked. After 7 months, it totally stopped working. After further testing/diagnosing, it appears the module was no longer functioning and communicating with the controller or sending power to the lights or siren. I’ve emailed support a week ago and no help or answer. I’m very disappointed in how long this unit lasted and the lack of communication. Hopefully they will message me back and assist me in resolving this issue
