This 7 tier bookcase is well made, easy to assemble and looks great. This white open bookcase is 73" tall by 24" wide by 9.5" deep, designed with two smaller sections that come together giving it the 73" height. The white laminate over the compressed wood makes this bookcase very sturdy and almost impossible to scratch, crack or bend any of the 12 sections. Very impressed how well this bookcase came packaged by the manufacturer with lots of styrofoam boards and sheets with NOTHING damaged after unpacking everything. No glue or nails were required in assembly, just a lot of heavy duty screws. TIP: To speed up the assembly, I used a cordless (Ryobi impact driver) tool with a T15 torx bit to screw in the 32 (#D screws, page 4) allen head screws which this size torx bit fit perfect in these screw heads. The instructions were very well written and displayed to make assemble go easy and fast, and was only a one man job (that being myself). All the pre drilled screw holes were perfectly aligned and every corner and edge went together flush and flawlessly. The back part used these well designed plastic screw brackets to help secure the rear wood panels from bending and moving around, this was the only part that didn't have any pre drilled holes but the tiny self tapping screws went in without any trouble. All in all this bookcase is very well designed, constructed and very well packaged making it a good deal at the current price for a bookcase this size.

We need some extra storage in our spare room and this bookcase is perfect! It is a good height, not too tall or too short. The shelves are very sturdy, as is the entire piece. It was not difficult at all to put together, took about an hour. I chose the darker color to match our decor, and I am very glad I did. Unlike the white, the woodgrain has a much better esthetic, it looks like true wood, even has ridges. The screws also blend in really nicely and are not at all obvious. I like that you can adjthe height of some of the shelves too. This definitely is better looking than most inexpensive standard bookcase models, and I think this would be perfect for anyone's extra storage needs as it can be very versatile. You could utilize bins on some of the shelves to hold clothes, toys, or other miscellaneous items. This is packed really well in the box, so for college students this would be ideal, easy to transport and put up, but not so expensive that leaving it behind at the end of term would be heartbreaking. This offers so much storage space and options, I am happy and would absolutely recommend it!

This 7-tier bookcase met my expectations in terms of sturdiness and design. At 73" tall, it offers a ton of vertical storage without being overwhelming, and the depth makes it an overall wonderful space-saver. The assembly process is straightforward - the instructions are well written and the pre-drilled holes align well. As with most things you build yourself, it does take some time, but in no time you'll have it right up. I used a cordless drill to help speed up this process. The hardware was strong and secure. The back panels were a bit tricky, but the included brackets made it manageable. Once put together and filled, it was looking great. The laminate finish looks nice with the darker woodgrain. It seems scratch resistant unlike other bookcases. I do worry for the future though, as it's not solid wood and best for only the more moderate, lighter loads. Also, be careful to not over-tighten any of the screws. Overall, while I do think it is a bit more on the pricier side, it still is a great option for a new bookcase.

I am extremely pleased with this bookcase. It looks wonderful and is very study. I first removed the packing and laid out all of the pieces. Every piece was perfect with no scratches or imperfections. You first build the lower half, then the upper half, and then put the two pieces together. The nicest surprise was that the back was fiberboard, not cardboard. Most of the assembly was done with screws. Between the fiberboard back and screwed construction, you get a very nice piece of very sturdy furniture that looks way more expensive than its price. It did take 3 hours to assemble, not because it was difficult but that there are a LOT of screws to put in using a hex wrench. Tempting as it was to use a drill, it is far too easy to damage the bookcase so I strongly recommend the manual hex wrench. I thought I was just getting a bookcase for the back screen porch, but it looks so good that I now feel I have not a porch, but a whole new room.

This is complete crap. Do not waste your money. It’s cheap, none of the components are solid. The dowels sink completely into the holes they’re meant for. The screws strip out the material around them and leave worthless holes. It’s going to be a pain in the ass to return this.
