Quick and easy install, love the setup. Tooknme about 15 minutes to install and been jsing it for pver a month and love this drop in top. I have a big family and the large center burner is a huge plus for us. Easy clean ups and works flawless. I highly recommend if you need a larger burner for certain dIshes. Perfect fit for my household. Took a couple days to get used to the heat settings from our old Frigidare but I loke this one a lot more. The negative review about the burned counter is clearly a user error.

After looking at many models, this is the nicest drop-in cooktop. The model GH2122SF 2 is a very spiffy Euro design, heavy duty cast iron and stainless steel. Easy to clean. Burners come with natural gas and propane jets. Flame out protection. Good for RV or in-home applications. The company was very helpful in answering questions.

The installation was straight forward. Unfortunately, the left front burner would not stay on. After initial start with the knob depressed, the burner would light. However, releasing the knob to move up caused the flame to go out. The right front burner only ignited a few times and then failed to start. The unit has thermocouples at each burner. This is a safety feature that shuts off the gas to that burner if the flame goes out for any reason. This is a good feature. I suspect that there were some electrical connection problems or thermocouple problems with these two burners. I called their tech support, but they never really gave me any solution. I finally called Amazon who offered to replace the unit. I was able to keep the original unit while they shipped the replacement. Three of the five burners were operational. The replacement came in about four days. The replacement worked just fine. I then returned the original stovetop. I love the design. The price is about one third of comparable stovetops. I would have given it 5 stars except for the original problems. I do not know what their quality control program is, but they should have tested each stovetop before shipment.

This unit came packaged, very nice very tight. A lot of packaging to protect the unit. The only concern was that the plate for the large burner was packed with the small burner and the plate for the small burner packed with the large burner so one might assume those plates go with those respective burners that would be very incorrect. Make sure that you use the small round plate for the large back burner. Once I figured that out the stove operated as designed. I used the LPG conversion, which was very easy to do and it functions exactly as designed. I am very happy with this unit.

Shortest story - stove arrived with no damage to packaging. Installed it, checked and rechecked, and one burner does not work. The thermocouple seems faulty and shuts gas off immediately. No less than 18 e-mails and 14 phone calls, 5 videos and a handful of photos and any other information Gasland asks for, over 6 weeks and NOTHING. Gasland agrees the stove is defective but expected me to wait for a new stove to be shipped from China even though their website says I could get a new one in three days. The problem was a purchased the stove so I could build the cart to fit and by the time this was done and I tried to use the stove I was beyond the 30 return window. I’d be shocked if the problem with the stove is anything more than a faulty thermocouple, an $8 part - if only they’d tell me what part number to buy!? I finally persuaded Gasland to ship me a new one and they created a shipping label with UPS but another week has gone by and it’s never shipped. I’m out my time, cost of a countertop and money and have a broken stove in a custom built cart that I cannot use until I find a different stove and change the cart to fit it. I’d be shocked if the problem I’m having to try and get a charge back on my card but I suspect I’m the complete looser in this. Buyer beware! I would never recommend this stove or Gasland products/customer service to anyone!

The cooktop looks great and does deliver uniform, safe and consistent heat. I have noticed the safety turn on the knobs will click for the ignition and then not light the burner on the cooktop. Be aware that you need to stay there and make sure the burner is lit. I learned where to turn, raise, and stop the knob to ensure heat. The safety system works well so no gas leaks at that time but there are times that it does not ignite the burner. Other than that, you can cook till,your hearts content with this stylish and functional kitchen addition.
