  • Effective, quiet and successful incubator.
Successful hatching. Held about a month before reviewing to rate quality and function. Hatched out 8 chicks over the holidays. Aside from the volume of eggs it processes, a big difference from other incubators this one keeps the eggs oriented and easy to track as they’re captive in rows. This makes aging them easier than writing dates on each egg. Setup: assembly and familiarity took about 20 minutes and the instructions are easy to read and understand. There’s a simple screw drive and adjustable pinion gears that accommodate various egg sizes, and the adjustable temp and humidity is a nice feature. Operation, the panels is easy to read and make adjustments to temp, humidity at a glance. It has unt quiet operation so it is perfectly suited to classrooms or other occupied rooms without disturbing anyone. The integrated candling light is a fantastic feature as I don’t need to go searching for my handheld and is effective at gaging progress quickly and easily. I verified digital displays using a IR heat gun and happy to report it maintains temp and humidity levels within 1-2 degrees of set point consistently. Overall, after a hatching out a batch I have found zero issues with the incubator and soundly hesitate to recommend it for home, small scale business or education environments. It’s priced fairly and with suitable care should last. ... show more

  • This incubator feels surprisingly capable right from setup
This incubator feels surprisingly capable right from setup, especially for something designed to be beginner friendly. The build is straightforward, the rollers adjust easily to different egg sizes, and having space for up to 36 eggs makes it practical without being overwhelming. It feels well suited for a small farm, classroom, or first-time hatching project. The automatic modes are the real selling point. Selecting the preset for chicken, duck, goose, or pigeon takes the guesswork out of temperature management, and once it’s running, it stays remarkably stable. The pulse heating does a good job holding a consistent temperature without constant swings, which is critical during long incubation cycles. While you can’t manually adjust temperature in auto mode, that actually simplifies things for beginners. Egg turning and humidity control work as advertised. The eggs rotate automatically every 90 minutes, which mimics natural behavior and saves you from remembering to turn them yourself. The humidity system is easy to maintain—just keep a water bottle connected—and the display makes it easy to keep an eye on conditions. The built-in egg candler is a great bonus, letting you check embryo development without opening the lid and disturbing the environment. Pros include easy setup, reliable automation, consistent temperature control, and thoughtful features like the egg candler and dual power support. Cons are that manual control is limited in automatic mode and the water bottle isn’t included. Overall, this incubator offers excellent value for anyone wanting a mostly hands-off hatching experience. It’s ideal for beginners, hobbyists, educators, or small-scale poultry keepers who want dependable results without constant monitoring. ... show more

  • Great egg capacity and excellent features, including a built-in candler
As a chicken hobbyist who has had a variety of incubators over the years, this is, by far, probably the fanciest. Some of the features it includes: *Adjustable width rollers to accommodate everything from bantam to goose sized eggs. *Automatic egg turning *Digital humidity monitoring *A built-in egg candler *Up to 36-egg capacity, depending on type of eggs It was fairly easy to set up. I'm not quite ready to hatch some eggs at this time of year... But I did confirm that everything works as it should. It registered the ambient temperature properly and the rolling function does work just fine. 20 years ago when I first started keeping chickens, one of those El cheapo Styrofoam incubators was about $50. That was a lot back then. This one is light years beyond that and very reasonably priced for what you're getting. I like that they included a hatching grate, for when your baby chicks start pipping... As well as the various accoutrements to maintain the humidity inside. The viewing area being on the bottom is pretty novel idea for me too. I'm used to seeing it kind of the other way around. But all in all, it's a pretty great unit with a lot of pluses and I'm so looking forward to spring already while I sit here huddled in my living room in my hoodie and my sweats... So I can start hatching some babies. Grade A incubator. ... show more

  • Let’s hatch some feathered friends!
I got this for future use and I have not hatched any eggs using this YET! However, it was very easy to set up and appears to be working correctly. It looks to be well made. I have not had to clean it yet, as I have not hatched any feathered babies at this time. It looks like it wont be difficult to clean. I have high hopes that this will retain the heat and allow eggs to incubate properly. Without having gone through the process I feel ill equipped to say if this product is a good value. However, at this point it looks like it’s going to be great! ... show more

  • Spacious and Thoughtful Incubator That Makes Hatching Easier
I haven’t hatched eggs with this incubator yet, but I have been very pleased with the setup and features so far. It holds three times as many eggs as my first incubator, which makes it much more convenient when I’m ready to start hatching. The built‑in hygrometer is super handy and saves me from having to place an extra one inside, which feels much less like a hassle. The design feels solid and well thought out, and the larger capacity gives me confidence that once I have eggs ready, I’ll be able to manage larger batches at once. Another great thing about this model is how versatile it is. Unlike my first incubator that only worked with specific egg sizes, this one can handle pretty much any kind of eggs I want. That flexibility means I don’t have to worry about outgrowing it as I experiment with different breeds or species. Overall it feels like a quality upgrade that adds convenience and versatility, and I look forward to putting it to full use soon. ... show more
