I had low expectations for the product but it is actually very well made. The adjustments are well thought out. After setting the desired depth and offset, making repeat holes was so effortless. The bit is very sharp. I was able to make 24 holes on 12 cabinet doors easily. It appears that the bit would sustain its sharpness. I am a rookie woodworker so any help I can get is much appreciated and this tool is probably best choice I made. I did notice that there is very slight inconsistency with the offset on some cuts. I think it is a user. To avoid it, I marked the hole guide and the plate to always use the same orientation when making the hole. I think it made a difference. It took me the longest time to find the exact hinges I needed but once I was ready this little jig did everything I needed it to do. My hinges are installed perfectly.
