It's a pretty good safe. Needs to be bolted down or it can be easily carried off. Walls appear thin for being fireproof. However locks, keys, emergency access all work good.

The mini safe arrived in a box, nicely packed…did notice a small dent on the corner of the safe. This damage is cosmetic only and does not affect the function of the safe. The safe has some weight to it - definitely front heavy due to this thick door and locking mechanism. Inside you will find almost everything needed to operate and mount the safe. Removable shelf and a carpet piece on the bottom, very nice feature to protect valuables. 2 keys included with the emergency battery box and the instruction manual. Batteries for the keypad are NOT INCLUDED. Requires 4-AA batteries. This is a perfect size safe that can be mounted inside a closet and or under a bed. I’m currently keeping it in my nightstands lower shelf, mounted against the back to keep it from becoming portable. The key combo is easy to set and immediately unlocks when you enter your code! The light only works if you have batteries in for the digital keypad. 🏁---Pros---🏁 📌 Perfect size for a bedroom and or a closet 📌 We’ll built - thick door with a beefy lock 📌 Keys or a battery operated keypad 📌 Removable shelf 📌 Fireproof bag 📌 Battery box (brilliant feature just in case the keypad batteries die and you lost your keys - plug it in and it temporarily powers the keypad so you can use your code to unlock the safe) ☣---Cons---☣ 📌 Nothing that would make me give this less than a 5-star review. This is a very nice security box with plenty of features. I like that has both a number pad and a physical key. I first got familiar with the key - it worked well, and then I set that aside for safe keeping. Entering your own pin code is pretty easy and only took me a minute to do. The keypad beeps anytime you press a button, but there are instructions in the manual on how to easily turn that off. As far as other features go, there's a nice little light that shines into the security box for a minute after you open it. It's not super bright, but it is handy and gets the job done. The box itself is made of sheet metal, so this definitely isn't a heavy duty safe - I would say it is sufficient, though. The product description clearly states that it is not fire-rated, but does come with a fireproof document bag. I like that there's a shelf inside, and that if you don't need/want it, you can easily remove it. I am using this security box to keep curious fingers away from things they shouldn't touch, and it does and excellent job of that. If you have serious security concerns - get ya a real safe. Otherwise, I find this one to have plenty of options and gets the job done at a great price point. ... show more

This seems well built and secure, and is a fantastic price ($16 today). I was a little mislead by the ad heading, and a number of reviews, that suggested this as a travel safe for valuables. It it quite a bit heavier than I (6'2" male) would be comfortable toting on a vacation. I've returned the item. As a handgun safe, though, this seems like it might be a good option. ... show more

This Mitlvge 0.6 Cu ft Mini Safe is easy to use. The digital keypad is easy to read and operate. The back-up keys are real keys (not those generic money box keys). The safe comes with a fireproof bag, but the safe it not a fire-proof safe. This safe is not water/air tight and does not advertise to be. The quality is good and solid. It will hide well in a closet. The safe is heavy but not so heavy that someone couldn't pick it up and take it if they wanted to. There are mounting holes in the bottom and mounting screws are included to better keep in locked into place.. This makes a good safe place for most home use. ... show more
