I have a fill hose for my hot tub, and it takes forever to get hot. I went looking for a water heater, 110v, and light duty for just filling, and I found this one, which has very good specs and a good design, and I had to get one to try. I was not disappointed; this one has worked out great. First off, very easy to install. I like how there is a cold in and a hot out, and it easily connects to my hoses for filling the hot tub. I also like that it easily mounts on the wall for convenient installation by the water piquet. Secondly, very easy to use. I like how, once it is connected to the water and then plugged in, it just starts to work whenever hot water is needed. Lastly, it works great. I like how the hot water is instant and stays hot for the whole fill of the hot tub. No cons, it worked out great for me, and I am very happy with the purchase. ... show more

It has worked perfectly for just my shower and bathroom sink which is all I wanted it for since it is the farthest from my home hot water heater it took an actual 5-7 minutes for the water to reach full temperature and a lot of wasted water. This thing installed under the sink with no problem, I had no problem diverting the hot water hoses for the shower and sink (they were easy to reach, your situation might be different) and it is instant hot water that has not run out in my shower and the sink it never on more than a couple of minutes at most. Given the price, the ease of installation and the performance this is an easy decision to make. ... show more

We are doing a van conversion rv and this was perfect water heater for this project. The directions however are not great and they suggest you hire a professional to install it. Luckily my husband went to school for building maintenance. so this isn’t an issue for us. As I said the directions are poor and basically just a do and don’t not a step by step guide for installing. Probably because they suggest you hire a professional to install. if one is super handy it is pretty easy to hook up since basically you hook up your inlet and outlet then hook up your electric. So I think an experienced DIY’er can install it with no issues. Otherwise it is a decent water heater. This 6500KW tankless water heater does a nice job for a single room space. I wouldn’t use it for the whole house, but it does a great job for one room. With it being a 240V it draws less amperage but heats up the water pretty quickly. If you are not comfortable with connecting things that are 240V and just prefer the plug-in style you might need an electrician or plumber for this install, but if you are familiar, it’s not hard to put in, assuming the wiring is already there.     • No more big water heaters
We are switching out our big water heater tanks and moving to tankless models. This is a bit more difficult in a retrofit, but there's help available. We hired a plumber to do the work for us as part of a kitchen remodel. This definitely cuts down on our electric bill as well as our water bill since we used to have to run the water for 4-6 minutes waiting for the hot water to get to the faucet.
