Where have these been all my life?
Size: 110 PCS
These are great for trailer light wiring where you need a waterproof joint, durable hold and a soldered connection. These connectors are simple: 1.) strip the two wire ends, 2.) choose the appropriate size butt connector tube and slide it onto one end of the wire to be joined 3.) Twist the two exposed copper wires together but make it thin enough for the butt connector to slide over as it needs to be as tight as possible. 4.) heat the butt connector. There are four things that happen: The plastic tube shrinks against the wire, the two red collars melt forming an additional waterproof barrier and it holds the wires in place and lastly, the solder collar melts. Super impressed.

Great little butt splice kit
Size: 110 PCS
I use a 480C heat gun with a small tip. Melts the solder and shrinks the shrink wrap without burning shrink wrap or the glue. Makes a great solid solder and makes a nice marine grade seal. Easy to do if you have a hot enough gun.

Don't blame the product for user error
Size: 110 PCS
The media could not be loaded. I think the reviews complaining about these connectors are not using them correctly. They worked perfect for me. They have a strong hold better than crimping, an airtight seal, and if you use the proper size for the wire you're working with they shrink to a glove tight snug. I've had zero problems with connectivity on any of my projects. These are not regular heat shrink tubes. You can't use a lighter or a torch. A lighter won't melt the solder, and a torch will melt the tubing and your wire before it melts the solder. I used a heat gun I got off of Amazon for $20. It has two heat settings, and a reflector on it so the entire tube was heatedly evenly in seconds. Spend just a few extra seconds around the solder ring. Don't immediately try to pull on the connection. Of course it's going to come apart while it's still curing. These are made to withstand shaking and movement, not heavy weight pulling. No one is going to come and tug on your wires to pull them apart. All that aside, I absolutely recommend these shrink tubes to anyone who's doing at least minor automotive electrical wiring. I installed a dash cam, aftermarket radio, and rear view cam into my car using these and they have held up perfect. Short of it is, don't blame the product for human error.

Easier than I thought it would be
Size: 160 PCS
I bought these because I never have any luck with the kind you crimp. I don't have enough hand strength for that. These were easy. Make sure the butt ends are meshing with each other put the solder part over the junction of the two wires and use the heat gun to shrink the plastic wrapper around the wrappers. Kind of takes a little long than crimping but works for me.

110 Pcs Heat Shrink Wire Connectors: A Decent Electrical Splicing Solution
Size: 110 PCS
The 110 Pcs Heat Shrink Wire Connectors have proven to be a practical addition to my toolbox for electrical projects. This kit of solder seal butt connectors offers a convenient and straightforward solution for creating secure and waterproof splices in marine and other electrical applications. One of the standout features of this kit is the variety it provides. With 110 pieces in different sizes, it covers a broad range of wire gauges, ensuring compatibility with various electrical projects. This versatility makes it a handy kit to have for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. The heat shrink aspect of these connectors is effective in creating a tight seal around the wires, offering protection against moisture and other environmental factors. The waterproof feature adds an extra layer of durability, making these connectors suitable for marine applications where exposure to water is a concern. The solder seal design simplifies the splicing process by combining soldering and insulation into one step. This reduces the need for additional tools and streamlines the overall workflow, making it convenient for users with varying levels of soldering experience. While the connectors perform adequately for standard applications, the overall quality is reflective of the price point. For more critical or demanding projects, users might want to consider higher-end options for enhanced performance and durability. In conclusion, the 110 Pcs Heat Shrink Wire Connectors offer a practical and cost-effective solution for electrical splicing needs. With their variety of sizes, waterproof design, and solder seal capability, they cater to a wide range of applications. While they may not be the top-tier connectors available, they serve their purpose well for those seeking a budget-friendly and versatile option.
