This dehumidifier works great. It's not too big and bulky (about the size of a personal floor paper shredder). What sets this apart from most every other unit is the ability to set your desired humidity level. Once it reaches that percentage, the unit will then turn off (then back on once it senses the percentage raises above). I would say almost every other dehumidifier in this price range only has an on and off setting. With this model, you can make your settings then don't have to worry about turning the unit on and off. Unless you want to completely rid all moisture from the air, the ability to have this control means you won't have something running 24 hours a day constantly. I would say keeping your home around 40-45% is well within the comfortable range. ... show more

This dehumidifier gives me around 4 l/day but I cant get the humidity down to 60%. Maybe it works in a room with rather low humidity but not for my basement which is around 1500 sq ft, so 1000ft less than the advertised area. I can get it to lower the humidity by 10% but unfortunately it's not enough. So the unit works well when I consider the amount of water but the advertised area isn't correct. ... show more

There is no way this tiny machine dehumidifies the advertised square footage. I mean I literally laughed when I took it out of the box.. you’d have to change the water reservoir like every hour.

This is a very effective unit BUT it is NOT for a 2,441 sq ft home, At least not with using just the tank and not a hose for draining. It’s a small unit with a small tank that must be emptied twice a day at my house, in only a two room setting. Very disappointed in the size. It DOES come with a hose to continuously drain outside which we will end up using to compensate for the small tank. It IS a nice, quiet and effective machine. ... show more
