Finally, I have found a jacket for the in-between weather days when Mr. Winter continues to argue with Miss Spring. Such conversations result in a somewhat chaotic Mid-West spring weather pattern. Therefore, one requires a jacket that can tackle rain, wind and cold. A traditional rain jacket keeps one dry but can be too thin to effectively block the cold wind. This jacket not only blocks the wind, it provides steady warmth with the thin thermal lining. It also keeps out dampness when Mother Nature whips up rain storms. For me, sweaters are wonderful spring attire, yet require a bit more room in the outerwear department. As a result, I have purchased a size larger than normal and am glad. The fit is great with plenty of room in the arms and chest area. My belly is my biggest issue. However, I can zip up the jacket without my belly causing fit issues for the rest of my body. The cuffs, and waistband are adjustable without looking clownish. The black material is sleek and classy; perfect for work days. The construction is strong and polished with no hanging strings. The hood is attached with draw strings so it doesn’t fall over one’s eyes. The length lands mid-thigh, so one’s back side keeps warm and dry. LOVE!!! Honestly great quality, the fleece is the perfect layer, not too thick and not too thin so I don’t get overheated but still has a very night weight and comfort to it! It’s so flattering and fits me very well. I got a L so I could wear hoodies under it comfortably and I was able to without feeling like a snowball. Wore it in the rain a couple of times and works GREAT, nothing seems through and the fleece is a good thing warm barrier. Also bc it’s not bulky, it rly doubles as a wind breaker too! ... show more

Really nice jacket but it runs small. Inside it said IT was a UK size. I wear US 3x and this 3x was very small. Look up your size equivalent to UK sizes before ordering. P

This version is better than 2 others I tried. The grey color is sort of warm against other cooler grey clothing. One side puckers at the bottom due to uneven stitching, but it would serve its purpose as a wind and rain resistant jacket for rainy Southern winter work days and neighborhood walking. Had to return several times to get the right fit. I wear M-L typically and the M was better in this jacket. The quality is medium. Pretty good for the price. Update March 2026 I did not end up wearing this nearly as much as I thought. The puckering on the bottom hem is annoying enough to deter me from grabbing it from the closet. The dark gray color has some weird undertone that makes it look very drab, even though I wear gray all the time. It hangs weirdly when unzipped. I will probably donate it. ... show more

Item is exactly as described. I would size up especially if you need more room up top. I don’t like tightness when moving my arms and I don’t have that with this even fully zipped. The quality is very good and I expect it to function as needed. I will be taking it on an Alaskan cruise next year and think it will be perfect. Cozy in cool temps and rain while also keeping me warm and dry on glacier walks and whale watching tours. I am so excited to travel with this jacket! While L would’ve fit, I chose the XL and it was the right way to go especially for wearing over layers/sweaters etc. this is not something I wanted to be a close/tight fit. Comfortable fit, material feels nice and allows for movement without feeling bulky and covers the booty without restricting walking. I’m 5’2 and it is still several inches above my knee. I’ve tried other more expensive rain jackets/coats (with liners and without) and this one is by far my favorite.
