Finally, I have found a jacket for the in-between weather days when Mr. Winter continues to argue with Miss Spring. Such conversations result in a somewhat chaotic Mid-West spring weather pattern. Therefore, one requires a jacket that can tackle rain, wind and cold. A traditional rain jacket keeps one dry but can be too thin to effectively block the cold wind. This jacket not only blocks the wind, it provides steady warmth with the thin thermal lining. It also keeps out dampness when Mother Nature whips up rain storms. For me, sweaters are wonderful spring attire, yet require a bit more room in the outerwear department. As a result, I have purchased a size larger than normal and am glad. The fit is great with plenty of room in the arms and chest area. My belly is my biggest issue. However, I can zip up the jacket without my belly causing fit issues for the rest of my body. The cuffs, and waistband are adjustable without looking clownish. The black material is sleek and classy; perfect for work days. The construction is strong and polished with no hanging strings. The hood is attached with draw strings so it doesn’t fall over one’s eyes. The length lands mid-thigh, so one’s back side keeps warm and dry. I’m very pleased with this jacket and highly recommend it.

5 stars for ALL the things! I had low expectations and was completely thrilled with the quality, fit and material that went into this jacket. I needed a jacket to run errands and take walks in our usually mild NC fall and winter. It is perfect for my needs. I ordered a size up to allow layering and that was a good decision. I might order a second color in the correct size to use of other occasions because the styling is so classy. Even oversized it looks feminine and sleek. I am 5'10" with a slim build. The sleeves were actually long enough, which never happens, and it covers my tush as designed, which also never happens. The exterior and interior pockets are super large and deep. There's probably enough room for the entire contents of my tote bag :>). The color is a nice true khaki, not greenish or grayish. The hood is very generous and will easily fit over my long ponytail and a low-profile ball cap. The zippers work right and the snaps are secure. I know other reviewers dislike the fleece in the sleeves, but I haven't had any problem with dragging, possibly because I sized up but more likely that the armhole and sleeves are designed correctly for a coat and without skimping on material. I can't comment on the waterproof claim because I'm a fair-weather walker, so I'll leave that to others. It does block a pretty stiff wind and I stay comfortable.

This jacket is such high quality construction! Pros: -PRICE!!! $$$ -OUTSTANDING CONSTRUCTION!!! -Beautiful fabrication! -2-WAY ZIPPER! YES!!! Every coat should have a 2-way zipper! High quality snap placket to hide zipper! High quality zipper! -Hood-not too big or too small (hood cannot be removed, if that is important to you) -Deep pockets! -Warmth without weight! Perfect transition coat! (depending on where you live, this coat may suit you year round. The FLEECE lining (not an easy thing to find) is so comfortable and just the right weight/warmth. Personally, a Sherpa lining is too hot for me. -Repels water -Cinched, adjustable waist -Flattering fit -Perfect length. I am 5’11” tall and weigh 235 lbs. I have long arms and a long torso. This coat covers my bottom completely and hits about 8” above my knees. I ordered the 3X and it fits perfectly. I normally wear a size 18, but find Amazon clothing runs at least 2 sizes smaller than U.S. sizes. -Love the notch at center back hem to add style -Sleeves are generous in fit and also in length. Sleeves that are too restrictive in the upper arms are always an issue for me. Not with this coat. -Not at all restrictive in shoulders -No unattractive “logo” embroidered on the coat CONS: -Fleece lining in sleeves. Why? Wish sleeves were polyester/tricot lined. It is hard to get your arm in the sleeves when wearing long sleeved tops. -Sizing is inconsistent. Navy is more generous than the black (ordered navy and black). Tags sewn into neckline are even different on the navy and the black. Why??? They should be identical. -Velcro on sleeve hem is annoying. For some reason, the black coat does not have Velcro on the sleeve hem, which I am happy about. I removed the Velcro on the navy coat. It serves no purpose and attracts lint and when you don’t use it, the Velcro shows and it is scratchy and unattractive. I would give this 5 stars if it weren’t for the fleece lining in the sleeves, the Velcro on the sleeve hem and inconsistent sizing. I have been searching for a coat like this for years! The pros far outweigh the cons. Wish there was a dark, chocolate brown option. I hope this review will help others who are debating whether or not to order this coat. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I am giving it a 5 because of its waterproof properties and lovely teal color. I would give it a 1 for the pockets. Both of them are very flimsily made and opened up at the bottom pushing the contents into the liner where I had to dig them out! I really like the fit of this jacket, I did have to go to a bigger size, though, just an fyi. I do love that it has both a zippered closing and snaps to make you more snug. The hood is nice, as well. I will just have to think of something to do with the pockets. It isn't a matter of just accessing them from inside the liner and sewing it, it would mean taking the liner apart to gain access. If the seller has any suggestions, I am open to them. Maybe send me two liners that I could then insert and stitch along the top edge?

I’m such a skeptic ordering ANYTHING online. I’m headed to Scotland for 2 weeks in March and wanted a gooood, lighter weight rain jacket. I got the navy blue and it is so gorgeous and PERFECT for what I wanted. VERY warm but not at all heavy or bulky. It’s a fantastic jacket. I am 5’6, 130 lbs. I ordered a large as I will be wearing a sweater or fleece pullovers under this jacket. It is roomy but not at all sloppy. You can also draw the waist in if desired. Tons of interior deep pockets and roomy!!!!! I give this jacket the highest rating. Sooooo soft on the inside, great and comfortable hood too. 💛🌟💛🌟💛🌟💛🌟💛🌟 You won’t be sorry.

Think I was sent a shorter version! I am only 5'4" but this jacket barley covers my butt. I bought this specific one because it looked like it did. It was nice quality. More on the thin side but will probably still keep you warm. Going to return and get a longer jacket.

Item is exactly as described. I would size up especially if you need more room up top. I don’t like tightness when moving my arms and I don’t have that with this even fully zipped. The quality is very good and I expect it to function as needed. I will be taking it on an Alaskan cruise next year and think it will be perfect. Cozy in cool temps and rain while also keeping me warm and dry on glacier walks and whale watching tours. I am so excited to travel with this jacket! While L would’ve fit, I chose the XL and it was the right way to go especially for wearing over layers/sweaters etc. this is not something I wanted to be a close/tight fit. Comfortable fit, material feels nice and allows for movement without feeling bulky and covers the booty without restricting walking. I’m 5’2 and it is still several inches above my knee. I’ve tried other more expensive rain jackets/coats (with liners and without) and this one is by far my favorite. It will do everything I need it to do without making me look boxy and at a reasonably price. I also like that it doesn’t weigh much and has zippered pockets
