I love this jacket. It's very comfortable; not too heavy and not too lightweight. I ordered a 2X, hoping it wouldn't be too snug or too baggy. It fits true to size and a perfect fit. Looking it over, it seems very well-made and good quality. The zipper glides easily without hesitation. Plenty of pockets too. I like the muted shade of Midnight Blue with the gray lining; nice combination. Haven't wore it outside in the rain yet, but the outer shell material feels like it will be water repellent. I've had this jacket for a little over a month now, and love it. My wife liked mine so much, I bought one similar to if for her and she loves it at well. The fleece lining is soft and comfortable, while keeping you the right amount of warm. The hood comes in handy in the rain, and the jack also keeps your warm & dry. The deep pockets are another benefit. Not only can you get items like your phone & keys in there, but you can get your hands in comfortably as well with all that in there. The zipper has a nice smooth action, and so far has been very durable. Being in Chicago, where weather can change in an instant, I truly love the versatility of this jacket. It not only keeps your warm but it also protects form the wind, rain, and other element. I do like that the jacket breathes as well so you don't get too hot and sweaty. I'm really happy with this jacket. I got it on sale which is always good, but after having it for a while I can say I would have paid the regular price it is usually listed for if I couldn't wait and needed another. The fit for me (XL) was very good; enough room through the shoulders and trim enough in the waste to be comfortable, but not baggy. The outer material feels quality and the fleece inner lining is fairly warm, especially for not being a particularly thick jacket. I have not tested its rain resistance yet. All the stitching looks pretty good. There is one area around each cuff that the stitching seems to be slightly out of line. This shouldn't impact functionality or durability, just something I noticed upon close inspection. The zipper seems to be of good quality and operates smoothly. I like that the hood has an extra adjustment to cinch it down in the back if need be. I think this is good value for the money and am looking forward to giving it a real test for 2 weeks in London this November. ... show more

I really like this jacket it is well-made and well constructed with large pockets on the inside easy access, nice hood works well. It’s a light jacket and I’ve worn it outside on my scooter walking the dog with temperatures between 30 and 40° and it is a bit chilly especially if there’s a breeze blowing. This is an excellent quality softshell, very similar to our Jack Wolfskin softshells which are sadly no longer sold outside of Europe. It has a lot of the same features as the Jack Wolfskin model we were trying to replace for our son who had outgrown his - soft and warm fleece lining, excellent hood, seam sealed zippers, tightening elastic in all of the right places, as well as being waterproof makes this a standout wind/rain/fall/spring jacket!
