I bought this because my other bag had fallen off, and I couldn't find it (turned up in the laundry room). In comparing these, there are some things I like between my original side bag and some I didn't that may be fixable. Pros: Three long Velcro straps that allow it to be really well fastened onto the chair. These attach directly to the bag and can go all the way down the bag, or over multiple rods for more security. It has an extra cup on the front of the bag for a small item like lists maybe. There is one side pocket large enough to hold a medium to large insulated tumbler and two smaller ones. I like that they have a mesh front so that you don't forget what is in them and go looking unnecessarily. Both bags have a large pocket running the full length of the side bag for a long item. Cons: This is a big one. The long pocket on this one has no closure where my old one has a zipper across the whole thing. This is a biggie because it causes the whole bag to lack support. Once you put a bottle, can, or especially an insulated tumbler in the pocket, it immediately is hanging sideways and the contents of the paper compartment, sometimes even the lower ones, start spilling out. Without that closure, the function of the whole side bag is lost. But the good news is that this should be an easy solve. First by me, then hopefully made standard. I'm simply going to put some Velcro from Dollar Tree across the top so it will be sealed. I'm also going to add Velcro vertically from bottom to top to create sub-compartments in the large section. One for two sections and two lines for three. This is something any manufacturer can duplicate the function of, and possibly anyone getting one of the unimproved units can do at home. I'll probably now carry a bag on each side now that I've improved the structure.

The side pouch was actually a lot bigger than I expected. It has a very strong velcro system to attach it to my wheelchair, and is made from high quality durable materials. The outside of the pouch has 2 smaller mesh pockets, and a large mesh pocket to hold a water bottle, or any other type of drink bottle. I mentioned bottle, because I don't want to be confused with a standard cup holder, as a normal cup wouldn't fit correctly, and would spill. There is another pocket behind the pockets with the mesh facing, that is not visible to the world, where you can carry other personal items, your phone, charger, maybe even a book. The possibilities are endless. I wish the inner pocket closed, but it still is a great helper for those who live in a wheelchair like me.

I have the greatest scooter in the world. It folds automatically to the size of a carry-on and weights only 40 pounds, but because of this, there is no storage. No basket that can attach to the front, and the cup holder I got has no where to go. But, it does have small handles, and this side bag worked perfectly with it's small front. I was able to slip the bag around the handle bars. Since I was just testing to see if it will work, I threw a water bottle, deck of tarot cards and an instruction manual in it, just whatever I had. Since I use it most for traveling, it will be perfect for a water bottle, phone, wallet and something else. And it stays close to me, so it won't fall or be stolen without me noticing. I have been looking for something like this ever since I got my awesome scooter with the one fault. The first photo shows the bag when the scooter is folded - no need to remove it. The other shows it from the top.

Excellent. highly functional and useful wheelchair accessory for mobility challenged individuals. It attaches. most often, to the left hand side wheelchair armrest,using Velcro straps, and is utilized to carry and store, water bottles, cell phones, house keys. wallets, and other items deemed essential, by the wheelchair user. We attached it to my disabled, wheelchair bound sisters wheelchair, and It is a 200% improvement over the back of the wheelchair, attached backpack she had previously been using. It provides easy access and saves her from the physical effort and gymnastic required to stop,then twist around in the wheelchair, to gain access to the contents of the backpack. Time and energy saver, it is a much more improved, much needed wheelchair accessory. Easy 5 star, highly recommended accessory. Two is definitely much better than one. Note: the above review notes are for the left hand side armrest attached side bag wheelchair accessory. This is for the right hand side armrest attached side bag wheelchair accessory. We decided to attache dual side bags to my sisters wheelchair, to enable her to have and utilize the additional storage, to carry more items, than would fit on the left side bag. same excellent review, 5 star, highly recommended wheelchair accessory.

This review is for a wheelchair BAG, not an electric wheelchair!!! My husband hasn't had any place to carry a thermos and other items since switching to a portable electric wheelchair from a scooter that had a basket on the front. He has just been using the bag on the back of the chair but a thermos won't stay upright and is a bit hard for him to reach since it slips to the bottom of the bag. This side bag will work much better for him and will keep his beverage, mobile phone, and other small items within easy reach. There is also a larger pocket that is the right size to fit the small clipboard and pen he uses when voting at car shows. He feels like this bag will be really useful to him. The Velcro straps can be adjusted to fit different sized arms, or on the bar on a walker for those more mobile. The price is lower than we paid for a small zippered bag that hangs behind his legs to hold his phone when he is using his standard wheelchair.

I ordered this bag to put on my mom's electric wheelchair. It's lightweight and works well to hold things she wants to carry around like her cell phone and drink. The Velcro straps make it easy to adjust the straps to where you need and secure the bag in place easily. The material does seem like it won't last for years, but it should last at least a few months. Overall this is a decent buy, but if you're looking for something that is going to last long term then I wouldn't recommend.

This is one of those small add-ons that ends up being really useful day to day. It attaches easily to the armrest and stays in place without sliding around, which I was a little worried about at first. Once it is on, it feels secure and does not need constant adjusting. The storage is simple but practical. It holds a phone, keys, glasses, or a few small essentials so everything is within reach instead of having to dig around in a bag. The cup holder is a nice bonus and works well for standard drinks. The material feels sturdy enough for everyday use, and it has held up fine so far without sagging or tearing. It is not bulky, so it does not get in the way while using the chair. Overall, it is one of those straightforward products that makes things a little more convenient without overcomplicating anything. Easy to use and actually helpful.
