  • Works well to clean, doesn't add a scent
We used this wetsuit cleaner after returning from a recent dive trip. We cleaned our daughters shorty wetsuit, several pairs of dive gloves and several pairs of dive shoes. It seems to work well for taking most of the "musky" smell off of the apparel. It doesn't really add a smell, just removes the bad smell, so the wetsuit smells like a new wet suit. The dive shoes took a couple washes to get rid of the "musky" smell. The directions say to soak the wet suit for approx 15 minutes, then agitate gently to clean and rinse thoroughly twice. What we did is put it in our washing machine on a 15 minute soak cycle, then delicate cycle to agitate and did a double rinse. We have another product that we use that seems to eliminate the smell during the first wash, everytime, but that product costs a little more. Overall this is a decent value for the price. ... show more

  • Helps eliminate musky odors
I work for a dive company and we typically wash the dive suits in dish soap. We washed the employees suits with this wash and it seemed to do the same if not a bit better than dish soap. What I noticed the most was the musky dampness smell was gone and that does not typically go away with just dish soap. We have some other neoprene items we will be using this on. It works well and decently priced. ... show more

  • Works pretty well. Lower cost than many other products.
I have used a lot of different wetsuit cleaners. This is not the best but it does work reasonably well and its cost per use is lower than many other products. Given its performance and price I would say that it is a good value.

  • Not cheap, but does the job better than standard dish soap
After using and reading this product, I kept coming back to the same question. "What's in it?" The rear label <see photo> only says to wear gloves as it may cause skin irritation. Not that I would put our wetsuits in a washing machine, it says not to as it may "damage the gears." Again.... What's in this stuff. It suds up when agitated in water, but is has no traditional soapy smell. My suit smells better after a couple rinses and a line dry. Just not sure about the cost for unknown ingredients. ... show more

  • Works well, came damaged
This works well, I always had issues washing my wetsuits and never knew there was a soap for them. This works well and it's not something you have to use often so this can last a long time. It came damaged, but still had most of the fluid left. Great way to clean your suits.

  • good cleaner, works as advertised
This is a good cleaner with a no smell. As a SCUBA diver I don't want to bring any scents into the underwater world. My wet suits came out clean with no sign of residue leftover from the cleaner.

  • Excellent wetsuit cleaner and deodorizer!
Wetsuits get nasty; this suff cleans them. Recently, my dive buddy and I completed a series of dives and unfortunately exited in a confined area where several divers had apparently answered the call of nature. Yes, that lovely aroma of bladder contents got on us and our gear. And then there was the smell of rental wetsuit...on my own gear! I followed the directions and put in 3 oz into a 15 gallon tub along with two full suits and two pairs of boots. I agitated for a few minutes and then left the tub out over night. In the morning, I pulled them out and rinsed them thoroughly with the hose. I looked in the tub and noticed a grey/brown haze to the water where the surfactants had done their job. The funk and dive-grime was in the tub and not on the suits! I detected no fading, fabric damage, or deamination. Suits were supple and did not get "crispy-crusty" These wetsuits had that "new suit" rubber smell, despite around 50 dives each on them, respectively. I think the 1qt jug is an outstanding value. Math tells me I'll get about eleven washes out a jug if I use the big tub for washing and soaking and considerably more if I use a 5 gallon bucket to do smaller "loads" of boots, gloves, and hoods. While this was a product provided to me for evaluation, I'll be buying more in the future. ... show more

  • Easy to use and great on bathing suits too!
TLDR: Makes my neoprene suit not smell and got rid of chlorine smell from bathing suits too! I got this primarily to use on my dive suits, but inadvertently forgot my swim suit inside one and this stuff got rid of the chlorine smell in the suit!! Used it about 5 times so far for large dive loads (two full suits and accessories) and Iโ€™ve very happy to the results each time. Love that it got rid of that musky smell and bonus that it got rid of chlorine from my swimsuit!! ... show more
