I ordered the "Color: 55DIP-KIT-01" aka the 56 Color Nail Dip Powder Starter Kit and it's great! The variety of colors will transition well throughout the year and they're lasting at least 2 weeks. Having been cut twice in a row at the salon I decided to start doing them myself. So now not only can I get them done whenever I want, I also won't walk away bleeding. The color in the left photo is B08 (Blue) and I used a glossy top coat. I had on B02 in the photo on the right (white) prior and both colors are great coverage. The colors came out of order but I put them in the order that they are displayed online from left to right so I could use it as a color guide, for example, the Black is B01, the White is B02, Red is B03 and so on. The jars are much smaller than you're used to in a salon but there is plenty of powder to be used on an individual level. Think of it as personal size, not industrial size. If you're new to doing this, here are a couple of pointers: *I do 4 thin coats with the base (first dip is a clear or white), this prevents the chipping after a few days a lot of people experience. Make sure to do enough coats. *Use a brush in-between coats to remove the excess. *Invest in an inexpensive electric file, it'll help even things out if you get the dip powder thicker in some areas than others. *After the activator is applied is when you want to shape and file the powder. Use a fine buffer to make the nail surface nice and smooth for the top coat. *This comes off in about 10-15 minutes using acetone. Don't try to peel or break this off, it's as simple as letting your nails soak. Put a paper towel in the bottom of a Ziploc bag, pour in the acetone and place the bag in a bowl of very warm water. Move your fingers around slightly and rub against the paper towel to help wipe the dip powder off. If the acetone fumes are irritating, place a hand towel over it. I only wish there was a coordinating polish set so I can always have matching toes!

Great Dip Nail powder to do at home yourself. I have enjoyed being able to do my own nails at such a great cost of this kit. It has a Great selection of dip colors with endless possibilities for professional looking nails. Easy to apply and remove instructions. Product holds up to several weeks of wear. Fine powder allows you to layer multiple layers without being too thick. Easy to apply glitter or multiple colors to create great looking designs.

I bought this product two days ago and was trying it out for the first time. I am a beginner btw! The colors and tools provided are great, and overall it's a very simple process. How ever, the containers are tiny! so if you have larger fingers, you will experience spilling when you dip the nail, unless you transport the powder into a wider container. MY main complaint is the 4-step liquid solutions the provide. The base which is the most important, arrived old. It was extremely goopy, and thick and when i pulled the brush applicator out of "The Base: Step 1" it was so stringy and thick that it stretched over a foot long! I googled that this happens with expired, and old bases, and the bases wouldnt even spread onto my nails. It was so thick and just gooey ball. Therefore i tried to use hardener as a base, and the first layer went fine, but you truly need an SNS base between the layers because after 1 hour of drying, the layers and the powder started slide off when I was in the heat (Outside running errands)... great starter kit but the base was ruined
