I just got into cooking with cast iron skillets so still learning the ropes. did not know you needed a special scrubber to keep it clean. After few uses of the cast iron skillet, cleaning it with regular scrubber wasn't getting the job done. Got it today and used it. Wow, what a difference. Works really well. I had reservations about the reported small size but I used it to clean a 15" skillet and it was fine. I don't see the point of it being any bigger. goes around the skillet fast and you really don't need to scrub it hard. Fast job. included plastic "pick" or whatever it's called works well and included drying cloth works as it should and cleans up really fast just hand washing. Chainmail scrubber looks and feels well made. Very happy with my purchase.

I kept drying out my cast iron using a brush and water (no soap). I would have to scrub so hard at times. This thing has been great, easy to use and scrape stuff quickly and it doesn't remove the oil layer like the brush did. It's also super easy to clean. I considered the chain mail squares but didn't want to put my hand in the dirty water or potentially touch the hot pan, with this I don't have to worry about either.

It took more effort to work than I thought it would. Also, the iron scrapings are hard to get rid of. The cloth provided does not help. Perhaps using something magnetic may work better for the final cleanup.
