This styling tool works great on my long thick curly hair. I do blow dry my hair first with a hair protectant and am always sure to use a heat protectant before using this tool as well. It is the perfect size to take on vacation too. I would definitely recommend this. Here’s my rating scale for products: 1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. 2 Stars: Do not buy. This is an upgrade from my last brush straightener, which is kind of hard to use. This is quite like a brush but in order for it to work, you have to use it in small sections of hair. It gets hot pretty quick and comes with good accessories.

This hair straightener works great on my thin, fine hair. It helps me get it straight and smooth out the frizzies. I also love how much faster it is than using my hair dryer and straightener. My new fave hair tool!

This is a great straightener. I've had a couple different brands of these and this is one of the nicest ones I've used. The cord swivels so easy and smooth you don't even realize it's doing it, but the cord is just never in your way, you almost forget it has one. It has an attractive look, I really like the black with purple accents. I found that the size of the brush head is just perfect for me to easily get the job done. The buttons are also in a more convenient spot than others I've had, though still not perfect given that they are touch buttons located on the handle, the one that you know, you hold it by. At least with this one they are positioned a little better so you can find a comfortable way to avoid them and they aren't so sensitive that you shut it off or change temps with the lightest touch like some are. Another nice feature with this one is the multiple temperature choices so you can find the one that's just right for your hair. I'm never sure about the ionic claims these products make but this straightener really does a great job on my hair not just straightening but really making it look so smooth and nice. I have the type of hair that the humid summer is definitely not my friend but this has really made a difference in taming the frizz which is almost impossible with my hair. I also like that you get a glove to use with it, it's a small thing but makes such a difference using the product. It also has some clips to assist as well as a draw string bag to keep in all in. Again a great add on, most of the time it's a pain storing these between uses so the bag is a great way to keep everything together and out of your way.
