This thing is amazing! I wasn't sure at first, but it is light enough, compact enough and provides more than enough power. I definitely wasn't expecting that much. It's great when you travel alot. We like the fact that you can pretty much pull over anywhere (mountain road, lake, etc.) Set up the bbq, cpl chairs, and enjoy a sunset with dinner and a movie. We have a tv, with the streaming device, small refrigerator, and microwave that we can use on our travels. We do use a dual battery setup, but that just makes it more convenient. Also, if I didn't mention, this inverter is silent, not a peep. And the remote control? Ha, well that is just a nice perk. I promise that you will love this thing as much as I do. So, if your in the market for a inverter, any size, 200w and up. These are well built, affordable, and if you ever have any problem, their customer service/tech support is amazing. Fast, polite, and eager to help. They will help you find the solution to your problem quickly and professionally. After my first purchase, I always go to lvyuan. What I like; Cables are included ( look like 6 AWG?) The ends of the cables have 3/8" holes on both ends so they will fit even the largest of battery studs. At the switch the unit gives you the option to have it on/off/remote. The sisplay on the top face gives you battery strength, voltage, and a relative graphic of load. I ran a huge shop vac and a heat gun at the same time (probably pushing close to 1700 watts and the my battery shut down as I exceeded the battery's max current output. The inverter draws about 1 amp while it is idle with no load. While running a heat gun at 950 watts the load meter showed about half capacity. What I don't like personally is the wireless remote system; It gives you the chance to turn it on/off by a radio signal, but without seeing the face of the inverter itself you cannot know any of the data or even if it is on. I would prefer a remote panel with the indicators on it.

I highly recommend this power inverter pure shine. The one I got it’s 3000 watts and 6000 watts peak I did test on it. It does power mine 14,000 BTU portable air conditioning.

I hooked this to the battery of my truck while it was running. Initial impressions were that this was a bit lightweight. The readout was impressive. I hooked my oscilloscope to the output, and it did show a pretty good sine wave, as you can see in the photo. However, once I started hooking up items to the outlets, things started going downhill. The 120V sockets feel flimsy and tight--not a good combination. If this were a (semi)permanent mount, it wouldn't be too bad. When I started adding a load to the output, the output would sag. At round 510 watts as measured by a "kill-a-watt" meter, the output sagged to 109V, and the input voltage sagged . It's hard to see in the photo. Increasing the load to about 560W caused the unit to shut down. This is not anywhere near the 1600W load or 3000W peak. If you're needing up to 500W and pure sine wave, this is not too bad, but does not live up to the rating.

This pure sine wave inverter is good for me when I want to go out in nature and take LOTS of pictures but don't have a way to charge up my devices. I bring my laptop and camera equipment along and it does take a lot of juice. Using this and putting it inline on my truck, I can shoot all day with frequent recharges when the need arises. I'm even able to bring my LED tablet monitor along and the inverter runs that too! It's a real lifesaver for being able to be "off the grid" enough that I don't need to come back to a city to charge up and keep going.
