Don't know why some customers said it was cheap looking, or you get what you pay for. We replaced a Jenn Air cooktop that cost 4x more than this one, and are extremely happy with the look and functions. The JA grates melted on a flare up! The grates on the Gasland are twice as heavy, at least. Using propane, it's a little more involved on the install but worth every penny.

The factory only sent two brackets to fasten it to the counter top. It should have been 4. Other than that it works very well. We are well satisfied in the quality.

The price of this unit is significantly cheaper than other brands. My whirlpool went bad and removed that one and set it aside. This gasland one I opened up had a way cheaper feel to it than the whirlpool. You could easily tell the difference in quality. Whirlpool had metal parts and was heavies compared to plastic on the gasland. Besides all of this, the unit works like it should.

The 1st stove had problems lighting 3 out of the 5 burners. When they did light the buildup of gas would create a huge ball of flame. I contacted the seller technical support and we spent over a month attempting to resolve the issue. I was concerned that my 30 day warranty would expire with Amazon since we were not able to fix the problem in time no matter how hard tech support tried. I contacted Amazon support and they took care of getting a replacement stove immediately. The new stove is great. Lighting is different since there is a safety thermocouple that has to heat up before you can adjust the flame size or it goes out. Thank you for all of the help with this problem

Excellent quality for the price. We shopped at Home Depot and Lowe’s for cooktops which were double the price. We like the design and look of the cooktop. It is a major upgrade from our old 4 burner unit. It shipped quickly and was very easy to install. It works perfectly. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

Our previous cooktop was a ceramic glass gas cooktop which we loved because of the easy cleanup. The grate dropped on the top and cracked the glass, so our first choice was going to be another ceramic top. Both my wife and I cook and host many large parties and worked in the service industry and are always looking for quality and durability. We were hesitant to buy a stainless cooktop but couldn’t be more happy with this appliance. I was concerned that maybe the BTU’s wouldn’t be adequate for our needs but I was wrong. Very easy to use, quality stainless top is even easier to clean than the ceramic top. Love the layout of the 5 burners which maximizes the cooktop space. Just hosted a party of 25 that went off without a hitch. It is now the center piece of our newly renovated chef kitchen. Highly recommend.
