    • Needs a slip free insert for lockdown time
You should know that the incubator needs a wire or non slip Insert once the eggs go into lock down in order to decrease the chance of splay legs on newly hatched chicks or ducks.

incubator either defective or cheap product that just simple doesn't work, bought quail eggs, waited extra 5 days over hatching time, nothing hatched, got another batch from different sources tried again, total of 100 quail egg not a single one hatched. been hatching for many years, so I know what I'm doing, decided to try a different incubator, large one, this one, and wasted so much time, eggs and money, very upset, I just want a refund, I hope seller will contact me. ... show more

This is way nicer than what I expected for my budget. I am very pleased with how spacious this incubator is. I also like the humidity readout and the water reservoirs are on the edges instead of beneath the eggs. Less mess. Definitely recommend!

    • Too small for duck eggs or larger chicken eggs
The places to put the eggs are way too small. The inner ring works great for quail eggs, but the outer ring would only fit 6 out of the two dozen eggs we tried to fit (we don't have abnormally large chicken breeds, by the way). There is no way this would accommodate duck eggs, it barely fit our medium sized chicken eggs, and some of those wouldn't even turn because it was too cramped. If you're trying to hatch small sized eggs, it looks like a great product and good quality, but the spaces are just way too small. ... show more

Everyone that is having trouble bumping humidity up at lockdown just put your incubator back in the foam insulation it came in
