This is now the 4th time I've purchased this exact same scooter for a different kiddo. This time it was as a birthday gift and it was a huge hit! Great quality. Fun design and lights up. Rides smooth and took like one minute to assemble. Light weight and overall safe when worn with a helmet.

Unfortunately in good conscience, I can’t recommend this scooter. I don’t want to bash the company though. I just think adjustments need to be made. I Bought this for my son because it was one of the least expensive options out there. (I’m sure most parents can relate - our kids BEG us for something - we cave and buy it - only for them to use a handful of times until it ends up sitting in the garage) So with most things I really try to not spend a lot of money if I don’t have to. Package arrived on time. When I first opened it, I was somewhat skeptical. I put it together, it was relatively easy and didn’t take long. It looks the same as advertised, I became pretty hopeful after that. My son was happy so I was happy. After he began riding it I noticed he had to kick most of the time, there was barely any glide to it. (I didn’t mind that I just want to make it known for future purchasers if you choose to do so - after all it is a scooter so no big deal) The very next day, my son is riding and without warning it literally fell apart on the back end. My son fell pretty hard as he had just put his foot up from kicking. Luckily he was wearing his helmet so nothing major. Just some scrapes for him and a minor heart attack for me. Nothing seemed loose, nothing seemed to be wrong, it just happened. It’s very frustrating to deal with. I’d hate for a younger child to be riding it and this happens again. I’ve had to buy a totally new scooter in the meantime. I’m having to deconstruct this one to send back. As I said, things happen and my son wasn’t seriously injured. I just think this scooter in particular may need some adjusting. I don’t find it to be safe at all. Hope this helps. ... show more

    • Okay scooter very unstable lean steer mechanism

This scooter was overall okay but not for us. It was sturdy, well built, and easy to assemble. The issue was with the leaning turning mechanism in the front wheels. Upon hitting a bump or any stumble in balance the mechanism would shift and change direction and for a little one that isn't the best at balancing she wasn't comfortable riding it. So we returned it and went with a 2 wheel with handlebar steering n she loved it so this set up isn't right for everyone. Also the age said up to 12 and it seemed just right at it's tallest setting and she's only 8 and on the shorter side so this definitely wouldn't grow well with her. ... show more
