    • Best play tower!
Color: Beige
I’ve been waiting awhile to write the review to see how the tower would fair against a family of rough and tumble rescues. I am pleased to finally write the review! Let’s begin by setting the scene. I have a family of rescues who are wary of toys, rip carpeted items to shreds, knock over towers until the cardboard breaks, and snub cat beds. I took a chance on this tower, as I’ve tried other smaller towers before with limited success. Well, this was a hit!!!! They LOVE it. They snooze on the towers, claw at the scratch rope, and attack the mice. The best part? They love the ball toys! I figured they would ignore it since they’ve never played with such toys before. They love it. They’ll have one paw through the top and one through the side and be hanging sideways to get to the balls. Best toy ever. In terms of sturdiness, I don’t expect it to last a terribly long time since they do play rough and since such towers are rarely made with more than cardboard, but so far it is holding up reeeeeally well. It has lasted longer than any other tower so far with no signs of wear. I’m very impressed! So impressed that should it wear at some point, I will definitely order another one. The only thing I wish is that all of the poles were wrapped with scratch rope rather than just the tall one. They like to scratch the poles and don’t necessarily check to see if there’s rope on each pole before they scratch. Rope around each would be perfect. That said, it’s something an owner can add on their own fairly easily which is what I’ll be doing soon for their scratching pleasure. All around this is a great purchase. Fantastic price, quality, and design. A huge thank you from a little family of happy rescues. ... show more

    • Purrfect playstand for a munchkin cat!
Color: Beige

The media could not be loaded. What can I say, this play stand was a great buy! It took us roughly 5 minutes to assemble without needing any tools. We just received it in the mail a few days ago and our munchkin cat Stubbs hasn't left it alone since! He has spent every moment either laying in one of the two cat lounge perches (looking outside), or has played with it in some way. He loves the hanging mice and has batted at both of them several times. He also enjoys pawing at the balls on the inside since they jingle a lot. We were actually worried at first that Stubbs wouldn't be able to reach the balls due to his small arms or be interested in them (since we haven't owned any interactive toys like this), but he proved us wrong by waking us up in the middle of the night from playing with them. He gets very loud and rough sometimes! The one thing I would caution on this play stand is the weight for it. Our munchkin is roughly around 6 lbs, and the tallest tower will slightly move when he jumps into it. Based on this, I wouldn't recommend getting it for any cat that's over 10 lbs as previous comments have mentioned. I would HIGHLY recommend getting this tower though if you do own a smaller cat or munchkin cat. ... show more

    • NOT MEANT FOR CATS OVER 10 POUNDS
Color: Beige

I really like the design of this cat tree because it has several different levels. there are mice that hang down and then I love the attached area that has the balls inside of it that my cat can claw and smack at and then I also like the rope that’s wrapped around the tallest of all of them. It took less than five minutes for me to assemble it and as I was assembling it my kitten was so excited she was crawling all over it and walking on it and very very curious as to what I was doing. Once I got it all assembled I can see why others that have reviewed this saying that it’s not very good quality it absolutely is very very poor quality and I would highly not recommend this for anybody that has a full-grown cat or a heavy cat. Right now my kitten is 2 pounds and it wobbles when she jumps onto it and I just know once she gets a little bit bigger and tries to jump up it’s going to snap since there’s not a lot of support and it is just pressed board covered in carpet that’s glued on so again if you plan on buying This don’t expect it to last very long and only buy it if you have a very very light weight kitten or a cat that isn’t going to be jumping around on it a bunch because it’s gonna snap unfortunately :( I can say however that since I have assembled it, my kitten has yet to stop playing with the mouse that is hanging down and she immediately went over and use the scratching post on the top-tier so I am happy about that because it’s going to save my furniture but I don’t know how long it will last. I will post an update if it starts to look like it’s breaking or does break to let you guys know exactly how long it actually lasted for a 2 pound kitten ****UPDATE (5 months after purchasing) **** my kitten is now 12 pounds and she was still playing with the ball area and sharpens her claws on the rope post. It’s still just as wobbly but it has still held up with no signs of breakage. I decided to upgrade to a larger/taller tree so I’ve given this to my mom for her 8 pound cat and she loves all the features. I’ve changed my headline from 5pounds to 10pounds and increased my star rating. I’m very surprised and impressed! ... show more
