I put this on my 55 belair. in front of the crossmember.My electric fan is on the engine side so I had clearance issues. The flanges for bolting it up are really thin! I'm guessing less than 1/16". It has no drain petcock! I wouldn't have installed had I been paying closer attention.

This seems to be a reliable radiator, used it on my 55 Chevy. I drove it in 95 degree heat, and performed well. I did have to make a shield around it to cool better, but all in all has done the job. 1955 Chevy 350 motor, automatic transmission.
