I recently got a 1965 Ford Mustang to work on and get running. I bought two of these to help protect the fenders while working on the engine. I am so glad I did. The covers are held in place with magnets that are pretty strong! Strong enough to hold tools and screws and such that you stick to them. Plus I have used them to place tools and other items on and have had no marks or other problems with them. Covers the full fender in the front and I will be using them for a while. No tears and clean them off with a simple wipe of a cloth with some basic cleaner on it. I wish it was a little bigger (although I didn't even pay any attention to dimensions when I purchased), and also wish the magnets were a little stronger, however my car aficionado father thought it was great! It is not leather, but a vinyl type material.

This cover has 6 magnet but they are all down one side of the cover. I left it on only to come back out to find that the wind had blown it over the other way.
